| Like most of Hideshi Hino's works, this manga is very grotesque and gory. However, I haven't found it scary at all but rather sad. The majority of the portrayed characters just want to live a normal life, to be part of the human world, far away from the circus, since they are monsters. Nevertheless, in theirs attempts they all end up with a tragic destiny. Although I think that this is not a great read, at least it is an entertaining and bloody manga. |
