| I've followed Sailor Moon for 3 or 4 years, starting with the manga (which I need to pick back up) and I'm currently watching the anime. While reading I was completely sucked into the characters' hopes and dreams, which always fill me with hope also, and their feelings of tragedy and despair too. The characters and story gain so much maturity and depth as the series goes on, which is why it's long been one of my cherished favourite series. The art is also captivating - it conveys and stirs in me the feelings of hope and uncertainty that the characters feel. I can't get enough of the Moon scenery! |
| Been a fan since late 90's-early 00's. That is when they aired it in Bulgaria with Bulgarian dub but from the German dub. It was very weird because Usagi was Bunny and it was dubbed as such :D. Though they aired only the first season and a part of Sailor Moon R. I love all the OG series. I was skeptical about the remake but it grew on me somewhat as well. I absolutely adore the OG soundtrack. The remake's felt sort of flat in comparison honestly. I have read all the manga, probably more than once. I rewatch the OG anime every 2-3 years. Though I also rewatched the remake recently too. I cry every time, even though I know what will happen. |
