I have roughly 8 Blurays, mostly movies.

I won't buy anime unless it's discounted.

Ah the prices of anime in Australia makes me sad.

I own about 15 series on DVD and 2 movies, but I've only purchased them on sale at JB Hi-Fi or at Supernovas where the prices seem reasonable.

I've got 16 series on DVD and whole lot more manga. The prices of anime in Australia annoys me. Like Rozen Maiden Overture is $20 at Zombster at that's only for 2 episodes. Better to wait for the sales but then I find that it's the manga that has the lowest price and end up going just for them instead of checking out the anime

I only own about 2 anime DVD :S one is my neighbour totoro and one is Pokemon movie about celebs but both were something that I got from Malaysia ;P I never actually bought any anime DVD or bluray from Australia before. It was too pricey for me at those times but I am planning to get one after I graduate form high school :3 I think the price are quite decent especially the ones from madman, it's not too overly expensive, it's just about right. If I were to buy some, I guess I would go for JB-Hi or something, it's the only retail store that sells anime there. There were some other Asian store that sell anime DVD too and in fact they are usually much cheaper (price for the whole collection of 25 ep is like the price of one volume from retail store), but I tend to avoid them because they are usually not official ones so huge quality isn't that good (by that I meant, they are from the internet usually). I prefer buying the whole collection than buying volume by volume, I meant it's really pricey ;/

Yeah the prices are very ridiculous so I am now investing in to buying a region free blu-ray player, pretty sure harvey, good guys or jb hi fi sell them. Then buy from Rightstuf or Amazon.

All I have atm is the Psycho-Pass blu-ray collectors box set, Cowboy Bebop collection 1 and 2 on blu-ray, Spice and Wolf collection 1 and 2 on blu-ray, Kokoro Connect complete season on blu-ray and lastly Death Note complete series fatpack DVD boxset all from Madman.

Bought The Cat Returns recently. I Still haven't watched it. Hell, I haven't even taken the shrink wrap off.

Also want to buy the third Berserk movie. I'm pretty pissed, JB Hi-Fi had a 1 day Bluray/DVD sale on its release day but I didn't notice until I got home and all my money is in cash at the moment so I couldn't order online :(

I own the full Death Note collection purchased from JBHIFI on DVD and a few Studio Ghibli movies here and there.

The price of anime and manga is SO expensive here. Manga at the local bookshop ranges from $12-$15 per manga due to shipping, translating costs etc whereas in Japan it is just $3 for One Piece manga!

Holy lack of spoiler buttons, batman.

Those Universal releases are crazy cheap compared to Madman, Hanabee etc.

It kind of annoys me that Roberta's Blood Trail is the shortest of the 3 parts, with the least extras, yet it's the highest priced. It also happens to be the one I want the most.

^ Yeah, Universal's releases are cheaper. I got Haibane Renmei for $20, whereas if anyone else had released it, it probably would've been around $50-60. About Roberta being the most expensive, it could be because it had never been released in Australia before, unlike the other parts of Black Lagoon.

I rarely buy anime during the 'Part 1 & Part 2' stage, I always wait for the complete collection. I sometimes import the U.S release if it will be cheaper.

I've got a full list on my profile, but all up, I have around 40 DVDs/BDs and the collection is slowly growing.

The pricing of Anime in this country is very poor. I do have some movies that I got on DVD years ago but today I get everything off the internet. I love how I can get the best quality anime movies and series.

I have gone 100% digital with Anime series and movies today and I watch everything now on a 1080p Projector :)

Best bargain I found was Eden's Bowy for $12 the full NTSC Region 1 Boxset at a charity shop :)
