Visual kei in school.

Alot of schools have dresscodes, where you have to wear a uniform or not wear any make up at all or not wear this, and not wear that, and some dont care what you look like as long as its not causing any problems. My school recently made a rule, since i started dressing like this, that your allowed to wear arm warmers and have certain hairstyles, have your hair in your face, and you can put bandaids and wear whatever kind of makeup you'd like. They even had a meeting about it ^__^ What about you? Does visual kei in your school slide, or do you have to look "normal" going into school? Do you try and make your uniform as visual-kei as it can be without breaking the rules, or what do you do? please reply or something, i've been trying to put in new topics since there are like 80 something members and not much too do. Just trying to help, here((:

I'm not in high school anymore, and I didn't know about Visual Kei until I joined the Navy. But back when I was in school, emo was basically just getting popular. But my school followed along the lines kinda like yours.
Couldn't have outrageous hair ex., non-natural color, excessive length(s) (cut uneven), coudn't be in eyes, and not related to any anti-racial group, (white supremacists shave their heads).
Makeup was kinda not noticed, but in the school rules handbook it said makeup couldn't be in "excessive color" or "black" had to be "natural to an extent".

I also wore arm warmers, safety pins, and a tie. I never was told to not wear them.

in my school we don't have to wear uniform (lucky), but the most of people hasn't got any style (lame[z]) haha :] it doesn't matter... so of course, i dress what i want, and wear whatever kind of makeup i like... and if they tell me something, than i just answer them, f***k off! that's all ><
