I hear you on that one. Cool to hear someone else was at the random Zapp wedding, still don't know how that happened and at a con of all places... Anyway, I agree and really want to check out other cons, it's just so hard to travel further from my location. I guess the only reason I'm such an advocate for Sakura-con is because its the biggest one I can go to without getting on a plane. |

I suggest you go to other cons, dude. Sakura-Con's a goddamn childproofed hugbox where nobody's allowed to have a negative opinion outside of the 18+ panels. Outside of Zapp's wedding panel, the programming was garbage this year and I had more conversations about Datsuns than I did Chinese cartoons. Not that I have a problem with it but there's a time and a place, you know? |

This year is going to suck, I've got a gov't policy final exam from 6-9 on the Thursday so I'll be driving down through the night. Might get there by like 4 am at the earliest and I'll be damned if I want to miss that opening ceremony... |

Hey, Kyouri, I can give a guess amount of people who attend the con at the same time each year from this club including myself a total of three to four people. I came up with the answer only because I know these people in person. |

I been to Sakura-Con six times and still have not cosplayed. That does not make me least "otaku". I have posted some pictures into the club, and this year 2013 I try taking pictures of people cosplaying. Not a lot but I try. |

I wish this club were more active specifically around the con. I wonder just how many MAL users really do attend. If the site ever gets fully repaired, it would be good to get a few users together and do some PR for the site. My Anime List just isn't known by many people when asked.I almost Posted Kyouri@MyAnimeList.net across my back this year as people were looking at me funny as if I wasn't "otaku" enough to attend as I wear normal clothes and don't cosplay. But I wonder how many people there even know about the site... |

sigh, true. But I'm still too busy trying to sort out all that I did this year to even begin looking forward to the next one. damn but that schedule was tight to do and see everything I wanted in. It was kinda my first con actually, and it left a good impression. |
