New build (2010.07.11) is up!Release notes: • New feature: Torrent downloader • Added %file% and %folder% variables to scripting. • Added $pad, $replace, $substr, $triml and $trimr functions to scripting. • Added bold, reverse, underline and disable all characters to IRC character menu. • Added "Do nothing" option for double and middle click actions. • Fixed comparison functions' behavior with empty strings. • Episode value is now shown without leading zeros. • Right clicking on score field of an anime list item now opens up score menu. • Minor improvements to recognition engine You might notice that torrent filters are limited to watching status for now. Global and anime specific filters are on their way. There's also no tracking for pre-downloaded files yet. These are going to be in the next build along with some other user preferences. |

Oh, thanks. I'm not an IRC person so I don't think I'll be able to manage it. But sure I'll be there if anyone needs help or wants to discuss something. I've been using that channel just to test Taiga's mIRC announcement feature so far. (: |

I took the initiative and registered #taiga on rizon.... hope you don't mind. I can set you to founder when/if you want to manage it.It might be handy for development discussion or help for users, and can crosspost things to the forum when needed. |

A new build is up!Release notes: • Added a menu bar to main window. • Added a spin control to episode input dialog. • Added release notes to version checking. • Added more options to mIRC announcement. • Added manual announcements feature. • Added new functions to string formatting. • Added synchronization button to main toolbar. • Removed text from main toolbar to make buttons fit. • Changed default values of format string variables. • Changed default format strings of HTTP and mIRC announcements. • Changed %status% variable to %playstatus% for clarification. • Fixed recognition problem with new versions of Media Player Classic Home Cinema. • Tray icon is now automatically re-added if explorer crashes and restarts. • HTTP errors are now shown with their explanations. • Other small improvements and dozens of minor bug fixes. Synchronization button's behavior might be a bit odd for now, since full implementation needs some additional help from MAL itself. When you click on it, Taiga updates your online list if you are logged in and there are queued events. Otherwise it just downloads your list from MAL. Torrent downloader is not in this build since it still requires much work to be done. |

One cannot simply break them, you must use the fires of Mt. Foo!I'm afraid you'll have to wait for a week or two. Some other works piled up since I practically ignored everything else while I was working on Taiga. On the bright side, after I'm done with them, there's going to be a new build with some overall improvements and a new feature, torrent downloader. (: |

Checked it out a bit (not much cos I'm sleepy), though I will not completely switch from MALU to Taiga (yet), I really like it. Looks really nice, the list is also clean. So, good job so far ;) |

For everyone who got an invitation to the club and now reading this... Umm, hello! I kind of randomly invited a few people who seemed to be interested in these kind of things. You can also invite others that would want to participate in testing, just don't spam to all of your friends please. ^^;I'm currently dealing with a few bugs but the program is mostly ready. Taiga will hopefully go public with the beta release this week. Oh well, I feel very nervous now. |
