The quality was definitely worse, but it wasn't so bad as to turn me off the release. Yen Press has good translations and besides the black/grey issue they do good releases.To be honest, I'm just glad someone picked it up because I never would have thought anyone would. VIZ is just Shonen Jump and the like, Tokyopop is deceased, Del Ray seems to be going the way of deceased (? Kodansha for one took their titles back), Bandai is deceased, Seven Seas is another that wouldn't fit this genre, etc. Besides Yen Press I can't think of another who would bring it over. |

I'm not against official releases or anything, but the printing quality for HotD was just really, really bad compared to the Japanese version. So many details in the shading and gradients are lost. I hope they don't get Triage X, and if they do, I hope they put more effort into preserving the art. |

Lucky countries.HOTD is getting close to catching up with Japan, wonder if Yen Press will replace HOTD with Triage-X (hey, one can hope :P) once they catch up. |

That's a movie theater, isn't it? I wonder if it's a hint there'll be a movie. Considering how little the manga's progressed, that or an OVA is about all they'd be able to make. |

That's hilarious, though I'm not sure I want to even look at the image. The thought alone is funny, and I feel bad for all those fans opening the manga and seeing that. :D |

Thanks for the update. The illustrations were awesome. Even though I'm a huge Saeko fan, I like the illustrations on his Inazuma site better. :) |

And wow, Shouji Sato's updated his site again already. No news on HotD, despite the top illustration.http://www.ghost-d.com/ssss/top.html He says Triage X volume 4 will be out March 9th. Inazuma's adults-only site has been updated too but I don't know if I can link to it. |
