Greetings, Anime Fans!Our first meeting will be this Friday, September 17, from 12:30 to about 2:00, in Russell Hall 131. We’ll engage in a lively discussion of anime and watch a couple of episodes of some great anime series. Tell your friends. There’ll be pizza and other snacks and you’ll meet other anime-niacs. Hear ye all! Next club is Friday July 16th! Sorry it could not be sooner but last one was kinda a bomb as far as people showing up so we wanted to give yall lots of notice. Also A-kon was a big ol blast of awesome that kinda knocked a June meeting out the door. So sorry I anyone was counting on it. But get yer votes in for what you wanna see the 16th. See ya then and rock on otakus! P.S. Also I will be making member cards for the online club members (cuz u deserve it!) And I'll bring some highlight photos of A-con (cuz they still make me smile) |

To those of you going to A-Kon tomorrow morning:You need to be at the north end of the north parking lot (the big one on Washington Street) at 5:30 a.m. You’ll need to bring at least $155.00 for your room ($80) and for registration ($75). As I mentioned earlier, some or all of your registration fee may be refunded to you, but that request hasn’t gone through all the channels; so bring the registration money with you. Of course, you’ll also need to bring money for food and any souvenirs you might want to purchase. I have reserved three rooms. They each have a king-sized bed (all the double bed rooms were taken). It looks like there’ll be three people per room. If you have any questions, post an e-mail or call me at 806.570.5986. See you in the morning. Dr. Netherton |

A-Kon 21: Revenge of the Penguins. June 4th - 6thOkay, if you are going to A-kon make sure you got $50 to Netherton-sama or Netherton-chan to hold a spot on the van. We are leaving at 5:30a.m. on Friday June 4th for Dallas. You will be responsible for your meals and the hotel bill that we reserved already. We have a good even number of chicks and dudes so the bill won't be to high when spilt between folks. Ummm...I PM me for questions if you have any or just put it in the A-kon *Laaaaaaahhhhh* discussion. Hello, Anime-niacs. I just want to make sure I know exactly who is going to A-Kon. I have a few confirmations, but I want to be sure and include everyone who is going. So, if you’re going, let me know and give me your deposit of $50 as soon as possible. If I’m not in my office, give it to one of the lab workers in Ordway 101.
