It's true! Dig around a little, folks, like I just did, and you'll find chapters 25 and 26 of Volume 9 scanlated, and presumably more on the way. Hooray! You'll have to join the Silver Diamond community to be pointed in the right direction and another community to access the downloads, just so you know.Thanks for the nudge, alexiel0927. Hmm, I have, and unless I'm missing something, all that's available beyond Volume 8 in English is chapter summaries. I guess I'm just stubborn, but I don't want to read chapter summaries. That ruins it for me. I want to read it line by line, each bit of text in the proper context and with the proper picture. And I don't want to be spoiled much until I can do that. I don't mind spoilers for some series, but Silver Diamond I enjoy too much to give in. So unless another scanlation group picks up where the last one left off, I guess I'll be waiting until 2011. |

*sigh* So it will still be well over a year before English-speaking fans get any new content (unless someone starts scanlating again in the meantime), but at least it's good to know that Tokyopop is going to be releasing the next volumes for certain and at a relatively quick pace. Image sources are not moderated on MAL at all. Visiting... well, any club or manga or anime page will confirm that. There's tons of scans from many places. It works both ways though--I've had manga covers I scanned for MAL show up on MU etc. Since they're images, we don't moderate the sources as it's usually impossible. You can ask the club creator here to take them down personally, but honestly.. they have no obligation to do so.We do like to know where text descriptions (summaries, character descriptions, etc) come from though.. those words were ultimately put together by the writer describing someone else's work. |

The only way possible for me to continue reading off volume 8 is through raw chinese scans. &They're those of pretty bad quality. :'( Is the only way to continue reading the manga through amazon where we buy from Tokyopop? :( |
