Pseudointellectual Club

Several MAL discussions are naturally looking for making valid, concrete points yet totally fall for a rich spectra of fallacies/cognitive biases/ad hominem/etc, like many poorly administered forums. You quoted a cool, non-mainstream name with key philosophical/scientific concepts? You made a huge, detailed wot for filtering weak, coward minds who don't feel like spending energy on your complex structures? You took a while and some effort for it? What did you expect and how did it go...? Most of authors didn't spend the whole day thinking how hard they were gonna troll/flame/etc for calming the pain from their miserable lives, full of frustration and unresolved emotions waiting for redemption, but more like Today the weather feels properly fine, my soul is full of hope and philanthropy, I feel social enough to share my ideas and engage in a constructive, interesting, philosophically deep and fulfilling thread where I bet some like-minded spirit will appear among the forum trash and will sharply, easily realize the value of my points. We may even get closer to some shred of light at the end of this dark, hopeless, nonsensical and meaningless tunnel of life!, just before suddenly realizing that... wasn't the case. So I thought "How about a club for purposely looking for such gems? Isn't this what should make life worth?" Don't expect any productive, concluding, properly documented discussion, effective life counseling, meaning for your worthless existence; just the idea of merely exploring and making fun of the huge bunch of nonsense you get from your daily MAL dosage and from your own mind. This is your chance to combat progeria, don't lose it and join the club! Rules: -Don't get personal when posting your "arguments". There are more hilarious alternatives that may entertain two or more instead of only you, selfish brat. Suggestions: -It's best if you focus your energy on ideas/facts than people. It's ok refering to public figures (politicians, mangakas, etc) but keep an eye about overdoing it. -Randomness is welcome. Derailing/losing direction is the club's fuel that keeps it exciting and unpredictable. Don't come up with schedules.
