Hikari x Chisaki

Information

This club is for those who thought that Hikari should have ended up with Chisaki in the end. Tsumugu was by far the worst male character in the entire show, and the only one to not have to go through any sacrifice or pain. Every situation just-so perfectly ended up going his way. He got to live alone with Chisaki for five years, while her love interest and all her friends rotted below the ice. Could things have gone any better for him? Hikari should have stopped being an incompetent fool and turned around to to realize who really cares about him and stopped chasing after an immature child that had already clearly rejected him.

I know its 2018 now but do you guys have an alternate story about this because i cant accept the ending

Lol, it's actually been about two years for me since I watched NNA. And my reason for not re-watching it is exactly the same!! I keep telling myself I'll watch but I seriously don't want to go through that depressed ride again. Ughghgh and that memory of Chisaki alone with douchebag Tsumugu is the most painful. The only time I did attempt to re-watch NNA over the past year I only got to like the second episode before I had to quit. But honestly, I think the depression and anger towards the anime are kind of fading just a slight bit.

PA works seemed to redeem themselves with Charlotte. It was actually pretty good. I just hope there's more good romance anime coming from them soon.

Sorry for the super late reply. It's been officialy one year ever sicne I watched NNA for the very first time. Can't believe it, time goes by so fast... honestly I also thought about re-watching the entier anime because I'm listening most of the OST lately (which already makes me tear up a bit) but I think I'll pass. I don't want to be depressed as I used to be last year, and being both super sad and disapointed after coming at the half of the anime (5 years gap...) this is truly the most painful part to me, at least the very beginning is bearable but after those 5 years, and when I keep remembering that Chisaki spent all this time at the surface, growing and with that prick of kaname... I feel so bad just because of that...

Yeah I did watch glasslip and it was just horrible. Boring, it didn't make any sens from the beginning to the ending.

YESSSSSS, I totally agree with you!!!!! I can't believe Chisaki ended up with that douchebag in the end. And I even agree with you on kaname as well. I would've been totally fine if Chisaki ended up with kaname. The Hikari x Chisaki ship would've been ideal for me but that probably wasn't going to happen. Kaname always got the short end of the stick. But then again, he was often too nice in some places. When Chisaki was hurting from her rejection he should've been the one to swoop in help her. But I guess tsumugu took advantage of that. UGHGH those 5 years they were living together......... it makes me cringe just thinking about it. I really wish I could rewatch NnA again, but its too painful to go through this horrible ending again. Goddammit they could have at least paired Hikari up with Miuna!!!

And have you seen Glassilp???? UGGGGGhhhh. Don't even get me started. They basically dyed Tsumugu's hair black, made him a bigger piece of shit, and stuck him in the MC roll with Manaka version number 2. I can't believe it.

I joined your group because it was one of the only one about (to me) one of the best and most underated girl of nna. Yeah, I love Chisaki. And I can join your opinion about the fact that she's such a great and beautifull girl and she had to end up with the worst prick of the show... this tsumugu, I really can't stand this guy. So pretentious, nothing bad happens to him (not like Kaname or Hikari) and he always gains everything (Chisaki) wihtout having to suffer or to do anyhting. He thinks he's better than everyone and try to teach them lifes' lessons. To me, that's because of him if the group of Manaka, Hikari, Chisaki and Kaname kind'of fall appart in the second part of the story. I may not be 100% for Chisaki x Hikari, because to me the perfect guys for her would have been Kaname, but even though it would have still be way better than Tsumugu. Everything bad happend to kaname, and he was barely mentioned by his friend.
Is it just me, or is Kaname the most depressing character in the series?
Like out of all of them, I feel he makes me the most sad.
He's the extra guy, the cool and collected one. He doesn't make mistakes, nothing bad every happens to him and he's always seemly fine.

However, because of this, he is always left out. People don't really notice him, he's just there. A shadow. Something about that makes me really feel sad, good sort of sad, glad I have something to feel. Its sort of interesting because half the reason its so sad is because he is the least focused character in the series, he got almost no screen time. But it works, that's exactly what kind of character he is. The prefect shadow.

Have you guys checked out Shigatsu wa kimi no uso? It really reminded me of Nagi no Asukara in a lot of places, more than any other anime (except glasslip maybe).

Dammit I still can't get over this no matter what I try. It's been over a year since I watched Nagi no Asukara and I'm still pissed about the ending.

Yeah, honesly they couldn't have made a wors pair than tsumugu and chisaki. They literally paired the best female character with the worst male character. Tsumgu should've been the one with the miuna ending....sad and alone.

Lol and glasslip, P.A. Work's new anime, took tsumugu, made him into a bugger jerk, and then decided to make him the male kead.
Worst. Decision. Ever.
