The S.O.B.C. Brigade

Information
<img src="http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/6369/1176517038265ik6fu7yn6.jpg" border="0"> Started in the depths of an undisclosed Internet location, the S.O.B.C Brigade originally existed to those who read or watched Kubo Tite's proclaimed Bleach series and vowed to improve upon it through their own theories and creations. Originally in the form of an RPG, it evolved over the years into a more general discussion of Bleach as well as other anime and manga series, with the theme of improvement still prevalent. Needless to say, humorous comments were greatly involved, and there was much rejoicing. The S.O.B.C Brigade is, of course, a corruption of the famed SOS Brigade of the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise. As such, the S.O.B.C Brigade acted in a similar fashion: to discover new anime and manga deemed interesting to the members' attention, to praise the unforgettable moments in anime that may have defined the members as fans, and to encourage discussion on how to "improve" upon the anime the members watch. To any newcomers who lurk here, this club is not exclusively a Bleach club, nor is it an anti-Bleach club. The "Bleach" in "S.O.B.C" is nothing more or less than symbolic to the spirit of the club. Any discussion regarding any anime is encouraged, as long as it's done in a non-spiteful manner to other potential members. And for goodness sake, keep the needless spam out of here. And of course, any aliens, time travelers, sliders, or espers are strongly encouraged to join.

@Vega: personally I didnt like rollo until he showed his power. then that sort of won him more respect. shallow respect, yes, but still its respect no matter how you look at it.

Kallen. She doesnt need to have such a big part as she does. I cant explain why, but she just doesnt

Yes, but Rollo is already so girly that people thought he was a Dilandau!Nunnally before R2 began. But at least we got Lelouch/Kallen fanwank from that episode as well, which will eventually lead to the mandatory Sunrise Sex Scene.

Lol, Code Geass knows it's cheese, so it makes it all the more epic as it tries to get Extra Cheese and perhaps even some Pepperoni (hey, that scene with Lelouch and Rollo was way too yaoi-ish for me). >_>

W7yd6 | May 26, 2008 6:32 PM
Yes, but the key difference is that the anime knows it's in non-canon fillertown.

GChan | May 26, 2008 6:20 PM
Of course Trieze is talking about the manga.

The anime has gone to fillertown.

W7yd6 | May 26, 2008 5:21 PM
Understandable. As I've already explained, I also have had too much trouble finding anything in Bleach to make fun of. It's probably part of the reason I'm more obsessed with Code Geass now.

Vaikyuko | May 26, 2008 5:19 PM
Well, suffice it to say I'm honored. [/attempt to sound honest comes out cheesy]

The current flashback arc is kinda lessening my ability to make fun of the series, because Kubo has, well, begun to answer a lot of the plot-hole/mystery (depending on whether you love or hate Bleach, respectively) bits...
