i personaly realy like claymore.
and i will say:
claymore is darker fantazy manga in medial world.
there are girls who become halfyoma half human and kill those monsters in order to save normal humans.
but in every fight they have to fight whit themself in order to stay human since those powars have side efect.
and story is about one of them who had very tragic past
(all claymores have tragic past or they wouldn't become claymore, but that one have special story so look forward to it)
it's worth to try, it have great but realy unique art wich goes well with plot.
and claymore is story drive manga, so main point is story wich will chain you to chair and not let you go. there are many twists and interesting events.
for moust fans of dark fantazy is claymore only second to berserk (but berserk is classic)
and is one of moust realistic mangas in question of power up's, there doesn't exist those strange out of nowhere power up's as in bleach and naruto and dragon ball.
