Fucking good,It's the later work by the same author of Koroshiya 1, his art is beautiful.The story is completely WTF like Koroshiya 1 but on a different stent while Koroshiya 1 has a lot of graphic scenes Homunculus is more on the Psychological side(there is some graphic scenes too) |

I'd say the titles that inspired me the most to create the club were primarily The World is Mine, Shamo and Wolfsmund. Very dark titles with villainous leads so morally destitute they make Orochimaru seem mild-mannered. Patricide, mass-murder, rape, sadistic torture and generally preying on the weak in unforgivable ways are some of their traits, and I do admit they, or any lead like them, will make a story about a thousand times better (I use Naruto as an example a lot since it's easily accessible and not *that* terrible when compared to the genre as a whole, but who can honestly say they don't find Naruto the character to be annoying, shallow and uninteresting as far as characters go, since all he does is repeat the same simplistic platitudes while being left with zero room for character development or exploration). Evil when done right is interesting in itself and has unrivaled levels of potential, it gives a character depth as well as room for development and exploration, or can add several layers of moral complexity. Evil is imperfection, and imperfection is what makes us human.I would call my taste for dark manga a guilty pleasure, but I don't feel guilty for enjoying the clearly superior choice. Who's with me? |
