Thank you to all who participated in our survey this past spring, we received over 100 submissions and your collective input was critical in reworking the site. Click here to see the new layout: https://unevenedge.com/

The first major change you will notice include the merger of excess boards to consolidate traffic and discussions, and a new set of new "Noise" folders. Replacing the old folders are a "Current Events" folder and an all-purpose "General Discussion" folder for any discussion not captured by other folders. In addition to consolidation, our goal was to reduce the legacy "folder camping" and promote more cross-folder interactions in a neutral format with basic moderation. After a few months of testing out the new format, we think this has been a success!

Given that different social groups/folder camps have different expectations and desires from the site, the second major component balances the consolidation with the introduction of private, self-moderated social spaces for each the major sub-communities (i.e. the action/anime crew, "Babblers", and "IBers"). We are still trialing some aspects, which may be subject to change. However, we think this update goes a long ways towards promoting interesting discussions on the main forums while allowing members to socialize in their own way without conflict.

We're less than a year away from the ASMB's 20th anniversary. Do you feel old yet? We know we do. A lot of things have changed, but a lot of things have stayed the same.
