Well for me at least, GL and Geass are two entirely different shows with entirely different atmospheres and meaning in between the lines. I do like Geass more, but both shows are quite good at their own categories. |

Parikool - I'm also gonna spill it out.When I started reading your comment, I misunderstod it - and thought "WTF!? That guy thinks that GL is better than Geass? oh, COME ON!" ... I think that will suffice for an anwser. It's not that I have anything TTGL, it was pretty good - but nothing will beat Lelouch-Dono. |

They're two totally different shows. Sure, there are some similarities, but not enough to truly say one is for sure "better."TTGL definitely has more comedy, but it is by no means childish. There are some really deep themes in it. Code Geass is also very mature, but it has different philosophies coursing through it. It is more serious for sure. I honestly think that TTGL is more intense than Code Geass, at least thus far for Code Geass. But that's because (TTGL Spoiler) |

Well... actually, I'm not going to lie. I'd rate them as equals. I like R2 more than the first season though, so I'd put R2 above gurren. |

Does ANYBODY here feel that Gurren Lagaan is better than Code Geass?Really irks me how others say that Gurren Lagaan is better. I found it quite childish actually. Code Geass has a more mature theme. In fact, there's a vote in one of the forums where gurren lagaan is leading. |
