Yeah bro I've been reading that for years now, its exactly the kind of manga that fires me up! You got good taste, not many folks know about this

Viritveus | Mar 3, 2018 2:04 AM
@-Slick-

-Slick- | Feb 4, 2018 10:10 PM
How's the new year going for everyone so far? Any new suggestions? Need a new badass series to check out during my break between class

Someone has an idea where I can watch/download Shounan Bakusouzoku with eng sub?

@-Slick-
Thank you very much. As soon as i've seen this sentence: "anyone who liked GTO will immediately gravitate towards this", Salaryman Kintarou was already my "must watch" list. :)

For 90s style, I also think it was much more better. I guess we are in the same ship at that point.

@Weeble_Wee
Thanks, I've heard about Be-bop Highschool but never actually taken a look. I will do so, now :)

Weeble_Wee | Dec 3, 2017 10:18 PM
@hibertansiyar

A fun manga I could recommend would be Be-bop Highschool ehich follows 2 delinquents and their everyday life in highschool as they fight guys and try to pick up chicks.

it's really funny and all the characters are great

@hibertansiyar
I checked your list of watched/read stuff and you've seen a lot of quality content. I did notice you haven't tried Salaryman Kintarou yet. This is a hidden gem. I could confidently say that anyone who liked GTO will immediately gravitate towards this as they continue to watch it. Its pretty much about a former Bōsōzoku leader who changes his ways because of a promise he made with his wife.

A very sad and emotional show while also having hilarious moments time to time. There's a scene towards the end of the series that will get your blood pumping and give you so much goosebumps and excitement! It'll bring out the delinquent inside you.

I would warn you not to let the older animation style intimidate you but I can tell you've seen some old school anime so it shouldn't bother you (TBH the old 90s art style was my favorite). The show is very short...only 20 episodes but will leave a long lasting impression on you and in your life because of the story and lessons.

Hello everyone! I haven't been active on MAL. Then I saw the message from club, it would be nice to get some recommendations.

-Slick- | Dec 1, 2017 3:23 PM
Yeah I see what you mean.

However, Tenshi na Konamaiki is a 100% delinquent series which belongs in the list for sure so people who have yet to read/watch it can check it out. Alnd Tenshi na Konamaiki is 100% completed unlike Sekitou Elergy which is still incomplete in translation. Just wanted to give you a heads up on that since I found out the hard way and realized there's still more untranslated chapters left :'(

I'm currently reading Sekitou Elergy. And I wouldnt say it counts as deliquent. I'd say the main girl is just a tomboy with an abrasive personality though I may consider adding her to character relations.

The list you got going on the side is great. There are some other good stuff that are missing which could be added such as:

Bakuon Rettou - which is about the Bosozoku subculture of Japan with delinquents and motorcycles. The characters have the same type of vibe from other delinquent manga/anime with the pompadours and attitudes. Lots of character development here but the art style might be a little different from what you are used to.

Bari Haken - If you enjoyed Angel Densetsu or Ocha Nigosu then you're gonna like this because its similar in that they both aren't actual delinquents but have the appearance with the hairstyle and facial appearances.

Tenshi na Konamaiki - Pretty much the standard delinquent manga except the main character resembles that of a woman. Its a little different for that reason but you'll get the same laughs and fights you get from other delinquent manga/anime and the same badass attitude. Made by the same author as one of the greatest delinquent series of all time, Kyou Kara Ore Wa. I HIGHLY recommend it for the female delinquent fans in this club.

Sekitou Elegy - Not really much of a delinquent series compared to others in the list but the female character in it is a delinquent with the same attitude, personality and behaviors as a typical delinquent. The main character falls in love with her and as it progresses we get to see some of the delinquent behavior come out from her. With how badass this female character is I think it earns its place in the delinquent category. She looks so cool too

The manga starts off a little lame and the art isn't pretty but the art does improve as well as the story. Before you know it you'll be glued and want to know what happens next. Similar to Yandere Kanojo in a way in my opinion.

Thank you for bringing this club back! The delinquent genre is my absolute favorite!!!
