Ryuuga is a character that appears in the Metal Saga anime and manga series. He debuts as the main antagonist of the first season, as the lead Blader of the Dark Nebula Organization with the Forbidden Bey, Lightning L-Drago 100HF. And as the series progresses, Ryuuga largely remains independent of the main cast. However, he often assists them against a common enemy and plays a massive role in the main events. Ryuuga's backstory and character remain mostly the same during Beyblade Metal Fight, although by Beyblade Metal Fight: Baku, the anime and manga diverge significantly. In the manga, Ryuuga is an ancient king of the Dragon Clan, and hundreds of years old.

Metal Fight Beyblade
Introduced as the main antagonist, Ryuuga was affiliated with the Dark Nebula Organization, who aided him in the theft of Lightning L-Drago 100HF from Koma Village. This incident served as Ginga's character motivation when Ryuuga abandoned his father in rubble after their first encounter. The power of the Forbidden Bey would start to influence Ryuuga, making him act sadistic in battle and eventually consuming him, draining his energy and turning Ryuuga into a monster.
Metal Fight Beyblade Baku
After being defeated by Ginga in battle Bladers, Ryuuga would begin a journey of redemption and eventually purify Lightning L-Drago 100HF, becoming Meteo L-Drago LW105LF in the process. Metal Fight Beyblade 4D
Ryuuga was revealed as a Legendary Blader, specifically one of the Bladers of the Four Seasons representing summer. He finds a traveling companion in Kenta Yumiya, who would become Ryuuga's closest and only friend. The two traveled for a long time, battling in tournaments and such and being present when Nemesis was revived. After giving his piece of the Star Fragment to Kenta after his loss to Rago, L-Drago disintegrated and the Dragon Emperor himself disappeared. It is unknown whether Ryuuga and L-Drago survived after passing on the Star Fragment to Kenta.
