She was sent to Saotome family by Emperor Gore 13 years prior to the series. She was given a cute human look by Gore, and, unable to find her parents, Proffesor Saotome adopted her under the name Miyuki Saotome. After 8 years, when she somehow realised her true identity, Gola stole blueprints of Getter Queen and ran away to her father. Saotome family have never knew who she really was.
Despite being a part of dinosaur's race, Gola was very kind to humans and didn't want to fight them. She conflicts with her father a lot because of this. She can't live with dinosaurs with such attitude, so when she sees Getter Robo almost destroyed by Mechasaurus, she decided what to do. She asks her father permission to finish the Getter and become Queen, but instead of this, she gives in battle in order to be killed by Getter. However, Mechasaurus comes to help and rescues her. Then she attacks the Mechasaurus, but Getter Queen is too damaged and it blows up. This results in death of Princess Gola.
