Sayaka YoshimuraSayaka is a young lady from the Taisho Era, attending a prestigious girls' school in Ginza. She is the daughter and heiress of the rich Yoshimura family and is admired everywhere she goes, especially among the girls of her school. When she was little, she injured her leg severely in the same accident that killed her mother, giving her a slight gait and pain whenever she uses it for too long. Sayaka is ignored by her father, who has not returned home for over a year and is working overseas. In his stead, her servant, Narutaki, became her support. They are very close, as they grew up together since childhood. People often mistake them as lovers because of their closeness. Sayaka is a kind girl who, unlike others of her class, does not differentiate people through their social standings, and is rather unaware of things like that.
