Ok so i know this is an anime site and all, but i'd like to talk about comic books.

I think everyone who likes anime should give it a try. I mean its basically a manga but with a different art style and more action than sentimental situations. Another thing that comic books have on manga and anime is that fact that it has a history.

what do i mean history? Ok take captain america for example. He represents a whole country with his actions and ideals. He may not have the best powers, but the simple fact that he's captain america is enough to make a normal villain crap his pants. You can trace his comic books back to the 40's. that means that he had been on and off for something around 70 years. SEVENTY YEARS. The same thing can be said about thor and spiderman. Spider-man has at least 500 issues and doesn't show signs of stopping.

Am i saying that comic books are better than manga and anime. not at all. Its just that they have differnet elements of appeal and i think that everyone should give them a shot before they poo poo it.
