Anime Relations: Hajime no Ippo: Mashiba vs. Kimura

I completed my 100th anime title, it being the Hajime no Ippo - Mashiba vs Kimura OVA.

Hooray!

Well I had a Finance midterm earlier today, and I thought I was feeling pretty good for it. I did well on midterm in another finance class I had the day before plus I'm taking an accounting class that very much covers a lot of the same material that I learn in Finance. Little did I know that this midterm was going to turn into me bending over at my desk and the finance midterm just pounding the shit out of me. My calculator was just not agreeing with any of the answers on the test. The general consensus of the class was that the test was hard, everyone but two people needed extra time.

Also I'm not really trying to poke fun at, or legitimize rape. You hear that people, consent is the way to go. But really, me being anally raped is the best metaphor for me when describing how poorly I do on tests.

Anime Relations: Bamboo Blade

So I just finished Bamboo Blade and I found it to be a lighthearted comedy with genuine character development. It does have some drama later in the series that doesn't really fit with the anime's feel.

The comedy was good with many moments filled with many laughs. Some of the earlier episodes have very funny scenes, and towards the end the scenes have either lost their charm, or the drama allowed for no laugh riot moments at all.

The character development was first class. The cast consist of lovable characters in which the wants, needs, and flaws are accurately portrayed.

I would recommend Bamboo Blade to anyone who enjoys a good laugh and a deep cast of characters.
