On Saturday I went to Soundwave in Brisbane. It was fricken awesome. (Make sure to read the last paragraph if you can't be bothered reading all of it).

Drove to Brisbane at about 8:30am with some friends, checked into our motel, laid down for a bit, then walked to the showgrounds where Soundwave was. Sat down listened to a few bands, walked around to different stages for a while. Once it hit about 3 it started spitting and the moshpits emptied a bit, so we jumped into the moshpit (by then the bigger bands were coming up and the moshpits were starting to get a bit crazy).

At about 5 bloodhound gang came up on the stage, which was one of the bands I was looking forward to. Me and my friends were in the opposite moshpit which was empty waiting for our fave band to come up. Bloodhound gang was great, they really got the crowd going. One of the chants they started was f**k America, which nearly everyone joined in on lol. Another one was Jimmy f**ked up when he screwed up during the Ballad of Chasey Lain. Everyone was singing along during Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo and The Discography Channel. The main guitarist was gross, he chugged a mug of beer, threw it back up then swallowed the whole thing again -__-' At the end they held up an American flag, looked shocked, threw it away then picked up an Aussie flag lol.

Finally it hit 6 and what we were waiting for all day came on - Billy Talent! I must say they were better than I thought they would be, I love their music, but wasn't sure what to expect of them live. The moshpit went crazy when they started, me and my friend's were in the 1st to 2nd row of it x.x In the first 2 songs about 30 people had already crowd surfed to the front and got chucked out by security. One guy crowd surfed to the front, started walking away then jumped up on the stage then got dragged down and kicked out lol. There was also a large girl who surfed to the front, then flashed the band... And for all those Billy Talent fans out there...they announced they will be releasing their next album soon!! They were working on it the last 8 months. They also played their new single 'Turn your Back' featuring Anti-Flag - check it out some time. The lead singer put a rain coat on half way through for some reason...still don't know why because they didn't sing standing in the rain. By the end of it I'd say at least 200 people surfed to the front (I got kicked in the face a couple of times).

Once they finished me and my friends left, we were stuffed and drenched in sweat from the moshpit. Went back to the motel, had showers, got changed then thought about what to do for the night. We decided on going clubbing then realised we didn't have the dress code for clubs at night so skipped that one. So we just went walking around Queen Street thinking of seeing a movie. We turned into a path and were walking behind a group of guys. Suddenly my friend said, "Hey guys...isn't that Billy Talent...?" And holy shit it was. We ran up, shook hands with the base guitarist (some of the members walked ahead - I don't blame them after a concert) but a couple of them stayed behind and walked and talked with us for a bit. We split up, got the the movies reallised it was closed and went back to the motel. I must say that made our night. How many people get to meet their favourite band walking on the street?! Well probably a few...but doesn't happen too often over here lol.

So I just realised I overuse the word 'anyways' WAY too much. I just read through some of my blogs and realised it -___-'

I'm gonna have to vary my words a little just so I don't use anyways as much >.>

Anyways I've had the same pic on my profile since I joined over a year ago. Sure it was the best pic in the world and I never got bored of it.

But I saw this one and had to change it (at least for a little while).

Not for the faint hearted =3

Or you could just check out my profile.

Just a few sexy pictures of me.

Take note that I'm not very photogenic. So most the time I'm pulling a horrible face instead of smiling. Anyways here are a couple of the ok ones I found.
