Doesn't matter what your blood father is. Doesn't matter who your father was when you were little. If this person made you feel bad about yourself, at some point, he mustn't be allowed to call himself your father. A father is the one who showed you how to be a man, and a father, by less bragging words and more actions. Someone who looks after you with his actions and doings, and not just asking questions and small talk. Someone who buys food for your cat without you even asking about it, not someone who is always shouting that you took your mother's awful qualities(even thou this makes him look the awful one).

To me it's someone who might look tough and stiff and cold, but it's actually kind.

Thought this anime was about gems but it's wasn't only about them.
