| ~ Present Day ~ My name is Ayumi Hoshina...and 9 years had passed from that horrible day when I was only 6...the day I lost my beloved older brother Akai and parents...and I had gone to the Black Order head quarters that day, and they went and defeated the Akuma. but then...they sent me off to my last living relatives...my horrible Aunt Ise and Uncle Jaken's home. I felt like a slave living with them... that's why today I decided to run away, once and for all. So I packed my things and ran to the nearest town as fast as I could, without stopping for food or rest on the 4 day trip. So now, here I am sleeping in an abandoned church [which is creepy but I had nowhere else to take a snooze], waiting for something interesting to happen. Nothing interesting can happen in my sleep though I know that for sure...or when I'm awake too...sigh...or...can it? ________________________ "zzzzzzzzzzzz......" I slept…. "Hey! you!" a voice said. "H-Hunh?" I slowly opened my eyes and looked to see two male police officers standing to my right. "Good you're awake. Now, what're you doing here? This is a crime scene you know!" The pudgy officer with the ugly brown mustache said. "W-what it is?! Oh no! I could've gotten hurt this whole time and I never realized it!" I said, panicking. "Calm down miss it's ok. Just leave the building immediately. We have a member of the Black Order coming here to investigate for us cuz' thereis rumors that an Innocence is here..." I narrowed my eyes at the mention of the Black Order, but then I unnarrowed them when I remembered hearing "Innocence". "I-Innocence? W-what's that?" "We don't exactly know..." the pale thin one said, "But even if we did we wouldn't tell you. Now scram!" He yelled. "Ok ,Ok…. " I said, running away from them and bursting out of the gigantic, rusty church doors. "The first people who talk to me if 5 days and already they're being mean......" I said, looking at my feet. Suddenly, because I wasn't watching where I was going, I bumped into something , or someone rather. | |
| "Oh I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!" I quickly stepped back and saw I had bumped into a tall, young man with long black hair in a ponytail with cold, blue eyes. I thought he looked really handsome but….really mean because his eyes were so cold. He glared at me. "Humph...You should watch where you're going squirt." He said, shoving me out of the way then heading off towards the church. "oooh...another one? Hey wait...you can't go in there! That's a crime scene!" "You're a baka girl." "Hunh?" "I'm with the Black Order. I came here to investigate. Didn't anyone tell you?" "ah...he's the one from the Black Order they sent here? No wonder I thought I recognized the uniform......" I started to walk off again, then stopped when I realized where would I go now? Where COULD I go? "I'm still all alone..." I sat down in the middle of the empty streets, "hugged" my knees and started to cry. Nothing had gone my way ever since Akai and my folks died , not even once. "Couldn't something good happen to me sometime, even if it was only for today?" Suddenly, I heard loud explosions coming from the church and I turned around to see the doors having been blown off and the glass and the windows completely shattered. Endless clouds of dust and rubble were pouring out of the church too, and then out came the two policemen, screaming bloody murder. "What is going on?…." I wondered aloud. The policemen suddenly ran past me, horribly terrified expressions on their face , screaming "Run! Run away! We're all going to die!!!" I didn't get it of course, so I gazed back at the church. "Oh...I think that man is still in there...I wonder if he's ok? But after how he treated me..." I shook my head. "No! That's not like me...he could need my help….not that I could help very much but.....I got try!" I ran towards the church and then into the building, coughing from the debris that were still floating around in the air. When I opened my eyes I was shocked to see a Lvl 1 Akuma in the far back of the building, with the man 3 feet away from it, holding a long, sleek black and silver katana. "Damn you Akuma...perish at the blade of my Mugen!" "Mugen?" I said quietly. "Kaichū: Ichigen [First World Illusion: World of Insects]!" He cried, swinging his blade at the Akuma then having a swarm of ghoul-like bug-things fly towards the hideous Akuma. "Oh wow...that must be his Innocence...which means he's an exorcist...like I thought..." The Akuma roared in pain then right before it vanished, the soul inside it screaming in pain, it shot out tons and tons of violet colored bullets. "Oh no...!" I said. "Hunh? You! Get out of here!" He said. "Hunh? AH!" I got down flat on the floor, and the man jumped up on the ceiling and somehow stayed there , and we both dodged the bullets that went flying into everything in the church and some outside of it. "I hope those don't hit anyone..." I said, getting up, and watching as the Akuma and the now free spirit inside faded away. The man got back down on the floor, sighed then glared at me once more. I looked away from him, though I could still feel his cold glare. Though when I looked at the floor I noticed something shiny, shaped slightly like a black rose about a foot away from me. ~ Hunh? What is... ~ "You fool! You could've gotten killed! Don't you know that was an Akuma?!" He yelled, putting his sword away as he marched over in front of me. "Hey! Look at me when I'm talking to you girl!" I looked up and him and narrowed my eyes. "Sorry..." "Yes, you should be sorry. Now...where did that Innocence the Akuma almost got go?" "Hunh?" "Just ignore me I'm just thinking aloud." "uuh...ok..." "Now you should leave. This is no place for a normal person to be at." He said, walking off towards the back of the church. I looked at the black rose thing again, picked it up and then called out to him. "Hey wait!" "Hm?" "Is...this an Innocence?" I asked, holding the black rose thing up. His eyes widened and he ran back over by me then examined the item for a moment. "Give me that!" he said, swiping it out of my hands the looking at it some more. "You...could've just asked me to hand it to you..." I said, staring at the ground sadly. "Yes...this is indeed the Innocence. where did you find it girl?" He asked sternly. "I-It was about a foot away from me...why?" The man didn't say anything. "No reason...but listen, you're coming with me to the Black Order now." "Wh-what?! why?!" "There has to be a reason why the Innocence landed so close to you, instead of flying out of the building like it should've from where it was." "Oh..." I looked at the ground. "So hold onto it, ok?" He said, holding it out to me. "O-ok..." I slowly took it from his hand then looked at it in my own. "Girl what's your name?" He asked standing up. I stood up as well. "I'm...Ayumi Hoshina..." I said shyly. "And you?" "Humph...my name is Yu Kanda...but don't you dare call me by my first name..." "W-why?" I asked, slightly afraid of his previous tone. "Because...I don't like my first name..." "Oh..." "Now come on..." he said, grabbing my wrist and pulling me out of the building. "Uuuh...I can walk without you pulling me you know..." "I know and I don't care." I was silent. I decided to look at the Innocence again, and I held it up so I could see it better with the suns rays. ~ How pretty...it's hard to believe this is a weapon... ~ I sighed. "Hey...Ayumi, right?" "Huh?" "If it does turn out that you are the one meant to wield that Innocence then you'll have a new home at the Black Order Headquarters...and you'll be living with all of the other exorcists and me." "W-what? really?" "Yes...but remember, that's only if your the one who can used the Innocence" "I know...but...I'm confident I am!" I said, smiling for the first time in forever. Kanda raised his left eyebrow and gave me a look. "Why do you want a new home anyway Ayumi?" "Because...my old home...I lost 9 years ago...and the last place I lived at that I left 5 days ago...was more like a prison..." Kanda's eyes widened slightly. "So...if I'm right...then I'll finally have a true home for the first time in 9 years!" I said, smiling bigger. Kanda was a little surprised. "I see..." I nodded, staring off at the sun. | |
One Wednesday evening ( which is today) , i went downstairs to have my dinner and then suddenly the gate opened and out came a man which i don't know with my cousin , adelia. Then followed by my third aunt . She brought the man in , who looked in his twenties, into the house and then i realised that the guy is my cousin's boyfriend ! haha.. lols.. i had a thunder shock .. And laid in the hospital until today.. haha.. just kidding . well , the guy and dinner and went home ..
