"Once an NPC dies, they're gone forever"
what in the world is this nonsense?

A game with that kinda system would break within the first week, because key NPC's would be killed off left n right, hell people do it in WoW where they just respawn anyway.

like I get that the writer wanted to create tension "oh no you'll lose your friend", but they went too broad with it.

they could've said "once an NPC COMPANION dies, that version of them is gone forever, if you recruit them again, they'll have no memories of you" and it would've actually worked.

you'd both get the tension, because you risk losing a friend, AND the games system isn't broken in any way, because the games mechanics don't care about your emotional bonds.

what were they thinking?

So the movie centers around a villain who wants to eradicate all quirk users to prevent the quirk singularity from happening, but what I find quite annoying is how, multiple times throughout the movie, our heroes will say "oh the quirk singularity ideology has no basis in fact" "it hasn't been scientifically proven" etc etc.
and that is SUCH A WEAK ASS COUNTER.

I mean seriously, no basis in fact? you literally have a girl - Eri - who has the power to rewind people out of existence, and she can't control that ability for shit.
Now tell me, what would happen if her power wasn't individual time rewinding, but, oh i dunno, spawning self sustaining black holes?

Like come on, i don't agree with the villains methods but how can you say there is no truth in what he says? bakugos explosive sweat quirk was made by merging the acid sweat and glycerin quirks, that individually aren't worth much, yet their result was so much stronger.

With how many people there are in the world, can you honestly, truly say, that there is no threat of deadly combinations happening that result in events so catastrophic, that governments around the world need to enact reproductive control and have scientists analyse potential results of quirk combinations for couples? and this is a best case scenario, as i implied before - you could end up ending all of humanity in an instant, before safety measures can even be enacted.

while i did like how it expanded upon the events of the 1st "summer of love", what i did not like is the way the story just jumps around back and forth, rather than being told in a more linear manner, i also did not like the cuts on character development, like rentons and eurekas relationship is barely developed and renton temporarily getting PTSD after brutally killing someone, simply did not exist. not to mention ray and charles being rentons adoptive parents right off the bat, i feel that just hurt the whole "this is what having a family is like" deal, because they were already his parents, he just didn't spend much time with them i guess.
