Anime Relations: Freely Tomorrow
At last, my first Nendoroid! No. 300 - Hatsune Miku 2.0!

The Details: I ordered Miku (brand-new & sealed) from AmiAmi Japan around two weeks ago. She arrived yesterday, though it would have been sooner had she not spent almost a week in UK customs. She cost 5,480 JPY including shipping (EMS). Customs charges + VAT came in at just under £20.

In the Box: Miku comes with tons of parts & accessories which makes her a great first Nendoroid for anyone! The picture below shows Miku’s default pose (displayed on her stand) and all of her other parts.

In addition to Miku herself, the box includes:

  • Stand and arc
  • A neck joint to be used with older Nendoroid pieces
  • 2 extra face plates
  • An additional set of twin tails
  • 4 extra hands (2 with a hole in them for gripping, 1 that strums her guitar and 1 that holds the guitar neck)
  • A bent leg with joint
  • 4 arms (2 bent, 2 straight to be used in Miku’s sitting position)
  • Extra skirt and lower half to be used in Miku’s sitting position
  • Mic
  • Guitar
  • Keyboard and stand
  • 2 speakers
  • 2 negi

Poses from the Box: The poses shown on Miku’s box are super cute so I attempted to recreate them.

I’m new to Nendoroid posing so I apologise if these are horribly done.

Thoughts: As Miku is my first Nendoroid, I don’t have anything to compare her to. However, I am absolutely in love with her! At first glance, it is obvious that she is very well made and the details on both her outfit and her accessories are very accurate. The blue/green of her hair is very striking and fits her character perfectly. She is also surprisingly posable. I didn’t think something so small could be expressed in so many different ways but I guess that’s the beauty of Nendoroids!

Overall, I am very excited to own Miku and I can’t wait to try out more poses! If anyone wants to know more about this Nendoroid, feel free to ask me any questions and I would be more than happy to help! I currently have some Nendoroids on pre-order and I’m looking into buying some second hand ones too! I’m planning on writing reviews on all of the Nendoroids I buy so follow this blog to keep up to date with my collection. Also feel free to check out My Figure Collection page (which is currently somewhat lacking). Username: pastelsylveon
