DearS & Azumanga Daioh
Just finished watching DearS. Surprisingly good for an ecchi. I know animes always have really strange highschool teachers but this one takes the cake. I thought it had a good story but kind of a weak plot if that makes any sense? I know it doesn't but it's kind of hard to describe what I mean. Chobits was far better although DearS had its moments.
Azumanga Daioh... what can I say? Best freaking thing ever! Haha! The first 6 or so episodes we're the funniest in my view, the ones focused mainly around Osaka. Her hillbilly accent cracks me up and that one Jackie Chan joke she makes during study group that one time had me in stitches. Tomo was also definately a favourite, Sakaki kind of bugged me because she hardly spoke a word but the cats we're the cutest! Yomi's "teary little diet girl" scene was hilarious, absolutely hilarious. It was my first time really watching a slice of life anime, it was alright but I prefer stories better, however, because of the crazy humour in Azumanga Daioh I really enjoyed it.
