On Twitter, @anime_kaguya revealed the three chapters that will be adapted in Episode 10, which I believe are Chapters 125, 126, and 127. It might be unlikely to finish the two confession arc unless they toss in sacrifices or enhancements. Rumor has it that season 3 has 13 episodes, but MAL showed that it's only 12 episodes. For the sake of the scenario, let's use 12 episodes instead. We have roughly 13 chapters to adapt a panel to an anime, and since the trend of this season is 3 panels per episode, we're getting around 9 chapters in total, with the possible removal of 4 more chapters.

One fix for this, and this is the most possible outcome, is having a 13th episode with 4 chapters on the last episode. But since we don't have total confirmation that this series is a 13-episode series, we can still leave this as a possibility.

Another fix is extending the runtime. Episode 11 could have 4 chapters, while Episode 12 could have 6 chapters. It's not an impossibility since the anime Orange had a finale episode that ran for 38 minutes.

Another fix (or a sacrifice) is shortening or not adapting certain chapters, and to be honest, this is the least likely. The team behind this anime is pretty careful at altering certain chapters to an anime adaptation (they recently did at the flashback panel), but it might ruin the whole flow of the story if you shorten or remove certain chapters at this point. Adapting Chapter 126 proves that we're adapting every chapter until 137.

The worst possible outcome of all of this is a cliffhanger. The show ends when Kaguya arrives at the roof, but then again, this is also pretty unlikely since Kaguya Sama the anime isn't really known for doing cliffhangers in its adaptation, and this is a total betrayal to people who are waiting for the two confession arcs (a.k.a. the biggest pivot point arc in the manga) unless..

A surprise 2nd season (or Season 4). This is just me having wishful thinking, but it's totally possible that we're getting more kaguya content as soon as we think (I'm aiming for fall 2022 at the closest). From the manga reader's perspective, this totally makes sense since there are 30 more chapters after the two confessions arc that are considered the most important arcs and the biggest pivot points in the whole series. And since the ending of the two confessions arc is (technically) a cliffhanger, it makes sense to see what happens after what happened in that arc sooner than we think. I dunno, this is just me having wishful thinking.

I'm sorry if I'm bugging people if there's already a proper answer out there. I just overthink a lot and I'd like to get this all out of my system. Any thoughts?
