Watched Iblard Jikan just now...
Meh, at first i was somewhat dissapointed, like omg wtf etc ;) But you get dragged into this surreal world after few minutes. It's like a dream, but yet it's more real than a dream.
Art is just amazing. It is very detailed, which makes it feel like a reality, yet composition and choose of colors makes it feel way too surreal. THis contradiction makes you feel like you see some otherworldly scenes, but you like never doubt that it's real.
Music helps a lot in creating that surreal feeleng. Mostly it's some mixture of traditional eastern musical elements with new age and trance. It creates just the mood for the screenplay, so 10/10 for music.
I just suppose I couldn't enjoy this anime to the fullest, 'cause I've got some problems in RL that stayed on my mind while watching Iblard Jikan. You need to relax completely - body and mind - to enjoy it, better wathced at evening, too, or at night even.
Somehow, I've got a feeleng that you might wathc this one under LSD or 'shrooms or something like that, and it may proove to create just the mindset for a beautiful narcotic vision, but I'm not really into it.
Overall, I rated it 7/10 'cause it's damn short. I just got the hang of it and it was already over. Rewatch raiting might be high, for that matter. Anyway, I recommend it to everyone who's not stranger to art, be it music, or theatre, or painting, or anything.
