Warning: Prologue Contains Some Spoilers From Anime Series!
Prologue
Once upon a time, there was a duck. But not just any duck, this duck was very special; she was very brave, heroic, knew ballet and saved the town where she lived. This duck had been transformed into a human girl with the help of a magic pendant. It was while she was a girl that she gathered the Prince’s heart shards together. But, alas; the pendant was the Prince’s last heart shard; so she could not stay human forever… or so she thought.
Fakir has decided to give up writing forever because he has tried for several years to write Ahiru back into human form again so he will be able to tell her how much he loves her. If Fakir was able to write her back into a girl, he had decided to ask Ahiru to marry him, to make her form as a girl permanent. Every time Fakir gets the courage to write her story, he gets a new nightmare; the latest being that when he writes her back, instead of a girl, she walks out of the water as a guy. This dream was the straw that broke the camel’s back… as they say… Fakir decides never to write again… But will he be able to keep that vow forever… or will fate intervene and force him to write the greatest love story of all time? All these questions will be answered in Princess Tutu Forever.
Chapter 1: The Beginning of the End?
When we last left Ahiru and Fakir, Ahiru was swimming happily in a beautiful lake while Fakir is watching her from the shore. Now, Ahiru is a fully grown adult duck swimming in the water. Suddenly, Ahiru waddles up to Fakir because she senses he is very lonely and unhappy. When she gets up to Fakir, she jumps onto his lap and quacks softly, “quack,” “why are you unhappy, Fakir?” she thinks towards him. “I want to make you a girl again, Ahiru, but I just can’t; maybe I should give up writing stories until I can do some more research into Drosselmeyer’s power and how to write happy endings and control the tragedies,” states Fakir. After Fakir says this, Ahiru decides to go swimming again, and bites Fakir’s shirt and yanks until he asks her what she wants. Ahiru quacks at him in response and starts yanking his shirt towards the lake. “Oh, you want me to come swimming with you, Ahiru,” replies Fakir. “Alright, I’ll swim with you,” said Fakir. While Fakir is swimming with Ahiru, he sees a weird glow coming from her body; after a few minutes, her body quits glowing and Fakir thinks she is just fine, but what was that strange glow lighting up her body? While she was glowing, Fakir felt different; like he was in her shoes as a duck, so he decides to keep swimming with her just to make certain she is fine. After a few hours, Ahiru begins to glow again, this time with an eerie green glow; while Fakir is watching her glow and wondering what is going on with her, her body begins to elongate and get bigger.
Suddenly, she begins to sink under the water and Fakir is very concerned for her. “Ahiru!” Fakir screams. “Duuuuck,” Fakir screams again. After screaming her name for a few minutes, Fakir dives recklessly into the lake to save Ahiru; but when he finally spots her, he notices she is again in human girl form. Fakir blushes and closes his eyes because she has no clothes on at all, but the water is so murky he can barely see any details. Ahiru does not know that Fakir is swimming towards her prostrate form. Fakir opens his eyes just in time to grasp her hand and swims back towards shore. When Fakir finally drags her onto the beach, he asks; “Are you alright?” after Ahiru had finally finished sputtering she replied; “I’m fine, but why am I human again?” I don’t know, all I saw was a bright light coming from you and then you went under and when I rescued you, here you were in this form.” Fakir replied. “Did you see anything?” asked Ahiru. “No,” replies Fakir, “but you should run into the cabin down the trail; I still have your old school clothes saved,” states Fakir. “Thank you very much.” says Ahiru.
As Ahiru is running back to the cabin, she sees the spirit of Miss Adele walking towards her. “Where are you off to in such a hurry?” asks Miss Adele. “I’m going to get my clothes from the cabin down the trail.” replies Ahiru. “I’ve got your clothes right here,” replies Miss Adele. “Hey Ahiru, since I have your clothes here, why don’t you stay and talk with me for a little while?” Miss Adele asks. “Certainly,” replies Ahiru; “it’s been such a long time, Miss Adele.” Ahiru replies. “Hey, Miss Adel, how did I get back to being a girl again?” Ahiru asks. “Hope mixed with love is a powerful emotion,” replies Miss Adele. “Fakir is hurting inside and he does not know how to tell you his feelings for you.” states Miss Adele. “Fakir loved you while you were a girl before, and even though he knows you are a duck, he still loves you, even though he thinks you will never be together.” “But how does that relate to me being a girl now, Miss Adele?” Ahiru asks. “When you had the heart shard pendant, some of the shard embedded itself inside your heart, and when the Prince gave you the love gem, a piece of the love from that shard embedded itself inside your heart also, and you now have the power to be whatever you want to be; if you want to stay a bird forever, you will; if you want to stay a girl forever, you will; and if you want to become Princess Tutu for a while, you will.” “You mean; I am able to choose whatever form I want to take on, based on what my heart desires?” Ahiru asked Miss Adele. “Yes,” states Miss Adele; “whatever you want to be, you can be.” Miss Adele,” Ahiru asks. “Yes Ahiru,” Miss Adele replies. “Does Fakir still love me?” Ahiru asks. “Why don’t you ask him yourself, Ahiru? He’s right behind you.” Miss Adele replies. “Who were you talking to, Ahiru?” Fakir asks. “I was talking to Miss Adele’s spirit, Fakir.” Ahiru responds. “Hey, Fakir;” Ahiru asks. “What is it, Ahiru?” Fakir replies. “Do you love me?” Ahiru asks. “Moron, what do you think; I promised to stay by your side for all time,” replied Fakir. “Fakir, I’ve always wanted to kiss you, but I used to think you were a jerk, and then I was scared you would hate me because I’m really a duck, now, I think if we kissed; I could be human forever. Will you kiss me, Fakir?” Ahiru replies.
In the forest, beside a beautiful lake, with nobody around and a full moon shining and making Ahiru’s hair glow like a flame of fire, Ahiru and Fakir kiss passionately. “Amazing!” states Ahiru. “Wow!” said Fakir. “What did you think?” they ask in unison. “It was beautiful!” Ahiru cries ecstatically. “I never knew you knew how to kiss so wonderfully,” Fakir replies. “Oh, Fakir, you’re just joking with me, aren’t you?” Ahiru asks. “No, I wasn’t joking with you. Hey Ahiru,” Fakir says. “What is it, Fakir?” Ahiru replies. “Do you love me, even though I was a jerk to you?” Fakir asks. “Fakir, after you wrote that story about me saving Mytho and buying him time, I knew that we would always be together.” Ahiru replied.
Just then, Ahiru and Fakir see a white light coming from deeper in the forest. Together, they go investigate and see a carriage harnessed to four huge white swans. Just as they get close enough to peak inside, a familiar voice erupts from inside the carriage, it’s Mytho and Rue come to visit them. “Hey! Ahiru, hey Fakir, what are you two doing this deep in the forest,” Mytho asks. “We were just, um, you know, uh, going for a walk,” they replied together. “Well, Rue and I have an announcement to make, we’re getting married; and you’re all invited to the wedding!” exclaims Prince Siegfried. “You’re getting married?!” asks Ahiru. “Yes, we are. Are you happy for us; do you want us to be together forever?” asks Mytho.

Ahiru's Song Part 1: A Princess Tutu Prequel I Am Writing!
Here is part of my Princess Tutu prequel I am working on; the story isn't fully finished yet, but i am still writing as I speak.
Ahiru’s Song: A New Chapter of Princess Tutu
Story By: John Meadows
Characters By: Ikuko Itoh
Warning: Slight Adult Language Inside
“Who am I…? What am I…? Am I… human? Or duck? Or Princess Tutu?” All these thoughts were racing through Ahiru’s head after she gives Mytho the last heart shard and goes back to being a duck. After she dances as a duck and gives the Prince enough time to destroy the Raven; Ahiru wonders whether she made the right choice giving Mytho his last heart shard… As she is trying to decide if what she did was right, memories come rushing in her mind like a hurricane. She remembers things about her life as a duck, and even before her first memory as a duck; the memory of being hatched; she remembers being… human… This is the story of Ahiru; everything that happened to her before she became Princess Tutu and moved into Goldkrone Town…
It is five years before Herr Drosselmeyer has an idea for his first story, and Ahiru has just started her first day in High School. Her real name is… “Oh, crud! I can’t remember, but maybe it will come back to me later,” Aorio Metsuki thinks. “Ah ha! Finally remembered, my name used to be… Aorio Metsuki. My name is Japanese for...‘Blue Eyes’. I loved that name because it suits me just fine, but what happened to turn me into a duck, how did I get here in this town, what was that huge black thing in the sky, who are all these people?” Aorio wonders.
“Ahiru!” she hears screaming in her ears as if from a long distance. “Are you alright?” she hears again. When she finally gets back on her feet, she sees the sweetest sight before her; the raven destroyed, the townspeople normal, Mytho and Rue standing before her and the best sight of all; she sees Fakir standing over her wounded body with a very worried look in his eyes, tears watering his beautiful green eyes. At that moment, she knows she will love him for the rest of her life, and will always stay by his side no matter what happens. “Of course,” she thinks; “I already fell head over heels for him the first time I met him, when Mytho hurt his ankle catching me when I tripped, I was about to tell him everything, but then he had to go and be a jerk to me.” As all these thoughts are going through Aorio’s head, Fakir is smirking to himself because he can see Aorio smiling with a whole lot of love in her eyes; he knows just what she’s smiling about, he can tell she loves him.
While this is going on; Aorio’s thoughts float back to before she became a duck, to her past life as Aorio… “I know what I’m going to do today,” Aorio thought aloud. “I’m going to go visit my boyfriend in the hospital. He really is an idiot, jumping in front of that horse to push that child out of the way, if I ever get the chance to sacrifice myself to save others, I won’t do anything.” Little did she know that she would get that chance, and by her inactivity; her whole world would be flipped upside down and inside out for years to come. One chance meeting with a stranger will make her whole outlook on life change forever and she will forget she ever had a boyfriend, she will forget all her friends and family, she will forget her present life... forever.
At homeroom, her teacher introduces two new transfer students; Pique and Lillie. At first, they seem like they’re just a couple of regular girls, always chasing after boys, blowing off doing their homework, skipping school to go to market and all around making fun of everybody else that they don’t like. Aorio immediately likes them because they have the same attitude that she does. “Hi, my name is Aorio, why don’t you two let me show you around school?” asks Aorio. “I would, but I don’t associate with geeks,” replied Pique. “Weirdo,” states Lillie. After she gets rejected and dissed in this un poetic way, Aorio decides to never befriend anybody, she decides to only communicate with her boyfriend, which she tries to do by writing him a love letter; which the teacher sees and reads the letter to the entire class. “Ahem! Everybody, Aorio has a boyfriend that injured himself saving a young child, how... stupid of that idiot moron to almost get himself killed over a child?!” exclaims Ms. Dog. Ms. Dog is a 35 year old female Daschund that was originally in love a certain wizard; that is until he started an experiment to turn humans into animals. His first subject; that Ms. Dog knows about; is a male teacher that would always get left at the altar whenever a girl accepted his marriage proposals. The wizard decided to combine this teacher with a purple colored cat. This teacher is now known as Mr. Cat and he teaches ballet at the Kinkan Academy of Fine Arts. Mr. Cat has several pupils under him and every time one of them make a mistake, his favorite saying is; “If you don’t get this right, I shall have you ma… ma… marry me right this instant!” As you can see, he is very excited about marriage. The wizard’s next subject was Ms. Dog herself, because she witnessed him experimenting with Mr. Cat. The wizards name is… Herr Drosselmeyer. After turning those two into animals, he decides to try his hand at writing stories. The first story he wrote was called “The Prince and the Raven”, which unexpectedly came to life in the town. When the events in his story came to life, he decided to write tragedies because his true love was his tragedy, she caught him experimenting with human/animal hybrids, and made her a hybrid himself.
Now, back to Aorio. After class, she is walking back to her house, when suddenly she hears a very sinister laugh coming from the bushes surrounding the roadway. As she is walking, she begins to pick up her pace little by little until, suddenly, she finds herself in a full-on football run. After a few minutes, the laughing ends, and Aorio finds herself at home. She enters the house and finds that… her mother and father and her entire family has been murdered. “Why????!!” she screams at nobody at all. After she gets all her anger out, she finds the courage to go to the neighbor’s house, who is the police chief. Aorio reports the murder to Mr. Meadows; whose hair is the soft green of a grassy field, his eyes the color of moss, his figure represents a small elephant, but all muscles. As she is reporting the murder, she hears that sinister laugh again. She asks Mr. Meadows if he hears anything. “Hear what,” Mr. Meadows asks. “You mean to tell me that you don’t hear that sinister laugh, Mr. Meadows?” queries Aorio. “No, I don’t hear anything at all,” replies Mr. Meadows. “Damn it! I must be going crazy,” stated Aorio.
