I want to participate in MAL a bit more, but haven't been able to do so w/ my busy schedule. So I've decided to write reviews for every anime/manga that I finish. I've written 3 so far, hehe.

I'm going w/ the more general type of review. No summary, no character discussion. Just some general pokes at the anime/manga being written about, to give readers some hints.

Hope I can continue this. I think 20 minutes per review wouldn't kill my schedule :D

Okay, it's 3:50 now and I have 10 minutes left before I get started on homework and then college apps.

Deadlines for UC applications is on November 30, exactly two weeks from now. I am about 40% finished with my personal statements (2) and 1% finished with the actual application (just made an account on UC server).

I've been writing my essays for the last 2 weeks, but the internet is too great of a distraction, so I will bring a laptop and type away at Borders or something.

Until that time, I swear, I will spend less than 30 minutes on MAL each day, and less than one hour's time watching anime/reading manga. Let this statement be known to all, so that if I fail to follow this regimen, let my failure be known to all.

Hey, that only took 2 minutes, I still have 8 minutes to rant.

Okay, well, besides college apps, I have TONS of homework. BC is definitely not your friendly class; 1.5-2.5 hours of homework each night, that's just bull. AP English is okay; about 1 hour's worth of work. Other classes are just negligible ... AP Bio is a joke (srsly, I BS outlines and still have a... >97% in that class... -_- terrible teacher). Rest of my agenda is non-AP, so no worries there.

So yeah. BC and AP English. Nemesis that takes up my anime/manga/write-college-essay time. Rawr.

5 minutes left. I'm going to buy a Magic Swap so I can play all those PS2 JRPG games. Did you know that between the time Final Fantasy X-2 came out and Final Fantasy XII came out, TONS of other companies released RPGs for the PS2? Yeah, well, I gotta play those (after all this application ordeal), and I sure as heck isn't going to buy all of them. So Magic Swap is the answer... the illegal way of playing them.. heh.

3 minutes left. Uh... Meh, I'll end here =P

Incredible as it sounds, I originally planned that biology outlining would take me til 5:00 PM to finish. It's now 7:17, and I still have about 2 pages. How did that come about? The answer is MAL browsing.

But it's okay, MAL is great.

Chaos Head is another anime that I've added to my watching list. It's decent.

SAT was last week. I believe I did a good job.

Oh, I just realized there are blogs available on MAL. So I guess I'll make an entry now.
It's 8:48 PM, I have just finished homework and dinner. Seriously, I need to be studying for the SAT right now... it's in three weeks, and I need to get through two prep books. But after 2 hours of frustrating Calculus BC, I just have no motivation. Which is why I'm zooming around MAL, and this is when I noticed the "My Blog" two lines from "My Profile."

Anyways, anime-wise (let's not talk about all the loads I have for school), I'm pretty loaded down. This is the first time, in the three, four years I have watched anime, that I actually got a list of all the new anime coming for the fall season, and picked some to watch.

Before, I knew anime series came out at intervals of the year - fall, spring, etc. but I never bothered with actually checking new ones out; I would just search on MAL for something interesting, whether it was already airing or was finished airing. So.. yeah, this is my first time watching the first episodes of several new anime series that have just come out! ^.^

Here's the list:
1) Gundam 00 Season 2: I watched the first season when the first episode of S2 came out, and I just had to continue; it's great. Waiting for 2nd episode.
2) ToraDora: A friend of mine introduced me to the manga, and even though I only read 13 chapters by the time I caught up with the translated chapters, I thought it was an excellent piece of work. So why not watch the anime version of it also? Waiting for 3rd episode.
3) ShikabaneHime Aka: Seems interesting from the synopsis. Just finished watching first episode, and it was rather interesting. Looking forward to watching this every Thursday now.
4) Kannagi: A friend watched it, it looked interesting, I went along with it. Finished 1st episode. Second episode is downloaded, but I'll watch it tomorrow after school or something.
5) Yozakura Quartet: Nice synopsis, nice setting, so I went ahead and watched the first episode. It was somewhat below my expectations, but it seems worthy enough to watch.

And with that, I now have 12 anime series under my "Currently Watching." Seriously, I need to finish the 7 finished-airing anime series... once I get the motivation to do so!

I'll watch Clannad After Story and Vampire Knight: Guilty when I feel like it. Probably in a month or two when I get frustrated with the once-per-week-episode release rate. But then again... I do have those 7 anime series that are already finished airing... but... hmm... see!? No motivation to continue and finish those up!

That's all for now. It's 9:00 PM, and I'm going to study for a good 30 minutes.
