Anime Relations: Clannad, Mayoiga

Okay so I sincerely apologise for the lack of entries BUT I do have a pretty good excuse. You see I had my GCSE exams which I was extremely unprepared for so yeah.
I haven't really found a good anime that stood out to me. I recently caught up with the Maoiga (The Lost Village) and honestly I didn't enjoy watching it that much. The plot appeared to be all over the place and wasn't very structured. Despite this I powered through it and completed the 12 episodes that have been released. Overall I would give the anime a maximum of 5/10 because it was very hyped beforehand but in my opinion it did not deliver. Additionally, the 'monster' type things in the anime weren't animated well. BUT BUT the anime style of the characters were very pretty and its a shame that the anime was a let down.

I am currently trying to get into the series Clannad and to be honest I'm not enjoying it very much. However, I will continue to watch it. So far I like the small comedy that it includes but some of the characters (OMG) annoy me so much. I have watched around 4 episodes and the plot or like storyline hasn't been established. I presume its going to be a love story between the typical shy girl and boy.

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE LOVELY :-)

Anime Relations: Another, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Kamisama Hajimemashita OVA, Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu, Kamisama Hajimemashita: Kako-hen

Pleas note that this it at this moment in time and in a few weeks/months my opinion may change from watching other animes. Also, there may be spoilers so you have been warned! :-)

1) Another
'Another' is about a group of students whose class has been cursed; this curse involved an extra person being added into their class who had previously died which causes students to die. So in order to stop the deaths they had to either ignore one person in their class or send the extra person back to death.
Personally, I would rate this a 6.5/10 because I didn't find it gripping and I guess I'm being kinda biased as I don't like this kind of genre. HOWEVER, the animation/style of this anime was beautiful and the storyline was quite different.

2) Kamisama Hajimemashita
'Kamisama Kiss' is about a girl called Nanami who has basically been chosen to become the new Land God. As the story develops we watch the relationship between her and Tomoe blossom and we also watch her go through different/new experiences being a God who is human.
Overall, I would rate this a 9/10 because the anime style was B E A U T I F U L and the way they developed the characters was gripping and I loved it. Additionally, Tomoe (me new love) was essentially the reason why I loved it so much. Unfortunately I couldn't find any more episodes and I tried to find out whether there is going to be a season 3 but there was no luck there. So now I want to rot in a whole and cry because, I am truly heartbroken.

3) Parasyte the maxim
'Parasyte' is about this boy called Shinichi who gets infected by this parasite who fails to take over his brain so, it takes over his right hand instead. The story develops from this and we watch Shinichi and his new 'partner' fight against other parasites.
What I liked most about this anime was how unusual it was and this interested me. So I think I would rate this a 7/10 because, it was quite serious and it was 'out of my comfort zone' as usually I tend to watch comical animes.
