Owari No Seraph
After much encouragement I finally started, and finished, watching Owari No Seraph. After watching this show I have a new OTP that I really think should be recognised by everyone, that OTP would be MikaYuu. The funny thing is that the producers of the show quite obviously ship them as well, as seen in the opening sequence. This show is probably one of the best animes I have seen in a while. It combines action and romance and a twisting plot. It is just so good. I binged the entire first season in a matter of two days, the first episode hooked me deep. I highly recommend this show to anyone who liked SAO, the shows aren't very similar and Owari definitely has more character development and a more complex plot, but it's the closest anime I can think of to it.
