Anime Relations: Sword Art Online

Over the many months of the existence of this anime list there has been one question that has been repeated ad nauseam: what does the sword art online tag mean? The question of the true meaning of a seemingly arbitrary string of numbers has racked the minds of many philosophers and notable figures of the Honeymise court (see Cameron Gibson, mayor of New Haremville). There have been many theories and explanations put forward by the scholarly community but none have been known to be anything more than mere speculation. At the time of writing for this paper, the Gibson-Bednarz Hypothesis and Quantum Grotto Conjecture have been cited as the most popular reigning theories. Moreover, religious sects such as the neo-Pythagorean Church have adopted the number within the tag into its doctrine, worshipping it as a holy symbol. It is with great excitement and risk to my wellbeing that I state that the aforementioned theories and proposals are incorrect in the greatest sense. I have spent years devoting my life to the study of one of the greatest mysteries known to man. I have waded through black libraries of forbidden knowledge and spoken with things that should never be named to come to my grand conclusion. I shake with exhilaration as I write of my great discovery. However, I have not taken the final step to the true understanding. For lack of a better explanation, some ideas and thoughts were never meant to come in contact with each other, like broken puzzle pieces that still fit together. To comprehend the great number, one must take these broken puzzle pieces, break them again, and assemble them backwards. As of writing this I have begun the process of unpacking the knowledge in my mind which I have isolated until this very moment, to assemble this volatile information at once would break even a person of sound mind and body. I write now through stream of consciousness and will do my best to describe what the number truly means in a discernible manner.
