System for rating anime
Anime Relations: Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, Steins;Gate
So, I had a difficult time trying to make this D: ... it ended up being like this after many changes... these 6 segments I find most important for any anime. Characters are not included here but I will substract 1 point they're not elaborated! I also don't feel like including OST bcz it does not affect my opinion on any anime.. Tho, I appreciate good music and openings/endings, but it really does not have impact my impression.
This system is for only for TV anime and movies (I made a different one for OVAs, specials, etc):
3 points maximum - personal enjoyment
(how I enjoyed watching the whole anime)
0 points - boooring, can't stand it (I usually drop these)
1 point - it's okay, mostly boring
2 - caught my attention!
3 - so fucking interesting!! ^ - ^
2 points max - impression / surprize effects, plot twists...
(the most important thing, imo, is if anime leaves an impression on you)
0 - there weren't at all any surprize effects.. completely monotone
1 - there were some
2 - wow!! I'm impressed // conveys feeling really well ^^
1 point max - (un)answered mysteries if it's that type of the anime
if it's some slice of life, romance, drama without any confusing parts then -- how well does this anime fit it's genre
0 - wtf!?!? they left it completely unanswered... / it's okay, but still smth botheres me.. // could be better
1 - well explained! // suits its genre perfectly
2 points max - the end
0 - Wtf, so hastily :S
1 - average, nothing special / I wanted the end to be a bit different..
2 - wow! / cliffhanger / fits perfectly!!
1 max - story development / arcs
(how's the story progressing imo... if it's boring almost the whole anime, and then they decided to make it better near the end, it's no good... also, if the story is divided into arcs: if I liked most of them, anime will get 1 point on this segment..)
0 - nah
1 - well done!
1 point max - moral of the story / was it worth watching and not waste of time?
(this represents my final impression... most anime get a green light here, but, there are always some that disappoint me, some that I completely wasted my time for... it can be interpreted that this segment is for the good anime to get a higher grade...it's very important if anime thaught you anything)

Then, I sum it like this:
Steins Gate:
3(enjoyment: so fucking interesting) + 2 (plot twists: wow!) + 1 (well answered) + 1(end: I wanted it to be different (to end at 22th ep)) + 1 (story development) + 1 (final impression: worth watching) = 9
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu:
2(caught my attention), 1 (there were some surprize effects..) + 1 (well answered) + 1 (end: okay, but they cut it off like some arc ending, not the end of the series) + 1 (arcs: very nice!) + 1 (final impression: worth watching) = 7
I also tend to subtract 1 point if I notice that characters are not enough elaborated (if their backrounds are not shown, if we know almost nothing about them).
