I'll admit watching anime has been getting tough lately, not due to lack of quality. There's always a quality anime around that I have yet to watch or re-watch. However it's been tough because there hasn't been anyone to discuss it with outside of the online community which thankfully kept my anime desires at bay without waning too much. I do wonder if anyone else has had this problem. I watched a couple episodes of Deadman Wonderland lately and it's a great show. In spite of how gory it can be and since I assume the animation sometimes being far too dark it's to cover up some of the more disturbing parts. I am also trying to watch K-On! which I really enjoyed when I bought it but got insanely lazy watching. I also just bought Rahxephon and since I love almost every series Studio Bones has released I figure that this won't be a bad purchase. Only time will tell I suppose. The one show I hope to have finished by this year is Bleach, I'm only 10 episodes away but I am having a difficult time trying to finish this thing off.
My last thought is that I've been really considering starting an anime club of sorts in my town here, which while it isn't small by any means I really have to wonder how many people would show up. I also have to assume the majority have probably only seen what's either been on or is on TV which of course is limited but not deterring.

Anime Relations: Bleach
This is an in general post on the filler arcs of Bleach and I'm not sure how long this will be. Well there hasn't been a single filler arc that I've enjoyed throughout. The Bount arc was downright atrocious, the animation downgraded severely and the powers of the characters were misinterpreted. DBZ had this problem too with the Garlic Jr. filler arc. I guess when it comes down to it they didn't understand how powerful to make these villains. Well after that there were just minor filler arcs until midway through the Hueco Mundo arc. Well here I sit at the newest filler arc, I will refer to it as the Reigai arc until a more official name is given. Well as it is right now we get copies of each and every character is the series, the villain sticks out like a sore thumb before he is even given proper introduction for two reasons. One he's brand spanking new and two he's drawn like a villain, there is no surprise or shock to him and while there have been some small twists and turns thus far this arc completely sucks. The animation is ok but these matchups start off as obvious and then when a character has a flashback or decides to explain why they did what they did it just bores the crap out of me. Mostly because the flashback that is shown is from earlier in the episode. I'll admit they found a cheap way to fill these episodes in, the first 5 minutes are from the previous episode. So then we only really get about 16-17 minutes of actual episode. I don't understand why they continued to make the show, why not take a break or make a Bleach Shippuden series? These filler arcs make it tough as a fan to continue watching. However now that the show has officially ended I can catch up, maybe they'll make some movies to encompass the final arc instead of restarting. Either case I'm happy and sad at the same time, happy because that means no more filler, sad because one of the shows I've watched for 5 years is about to end.
