Sorry, I completely forgot to tell you what's going on with Kitty! We decided to put him on a medicine that would help him live a bit longer. I don't know what will be the deciding factor on when Kitty dies but I hope that it'll be a while yet. But yeah, the medicine is, I think, a steroid and is supposed to make Whispers cranky and gain weight but, to be honest, I think he's being nicer than ever. Though now that I think about it that could be from the attention I've been lavishing upon him!! Any-who, thanks to everyone who has helped me with their kind words and well wishes!! Bear hugs for all!!! XD

My cat, the poor guy, has his tumor regrowing. Apparently, if they miss even a microscopic thingy of the tumor it can grow back. And that's what happened. So now the most we can do for him is prolong the inevitable, which I guess we were doing before, too. But I had hoped I would be able to keep him for at least a year after the surgery. That doesn't seem so likely anymore.
So, anyway, we can't afford chemo, so the best we can do is make him comfortable 'til he becomes in pain. The vet said something about steroids and something else that'll help him stick around longer, which we might be able to afford.
We'll be getting a call from the vet today on what we can do for Whispers. He's consulting with the specialists.

So I thought people would like to know that kitty is doing great! He has adapted to his new situation beautifully! He's acting just like his old self except he's being randomly hostile to my sister... He must be able to sense how I'm feeling. But, yeah. He's doing fine. There was no infection, or complications of any kind. Kitty got his stitches out a while ago and I have gotten used to his one eyed-ness. So much so, that when I saw another cat I was surprised that she had two eyes! Once Whispers fur grows back I'll be updating my profile picture to his current state.

Thanks to everyone and their support though Whispers cancer. I hope that it'll be a long, long, long time before anything else develops from the cancer. (malignant cancer)

I have started playing a MMORPG and I am having my few days/weeks/months obsessions so I most likely won't be showing up that often. T_T To my friends - Sorry! I miss you!! Maybe I'll see you there?

Oh and the game is called "Shaiya" by aeria games. I'm evil on the server that stars with a T. No pressure but I would love to see people I know there!

So Kitty went into surgery two days ago and he came home yesterday. He seemed kinda tired, sleeping in odd places(mostly in the hallway where people could step on him). He's doing really well, though. And he's really friendly, especially after he's had his painkillers. He gets a little loopy after that. When I first saw him I was shocked! It looked like Whispers had lost a third of his head but then it turned out that the vets had shaved one side of his head, so it was okay. Oh, and something (we're not sure what) happened to his eye that messed up the stitching a little. Not by much but enough that we got a elizabethan collar for him to, hopefully, avoid more 'tampering'.

I'm kinda tired so I'm sorry for writing this out poorly!

But all in all, Kitty is doing great and I have already gotten used to him having only on eye. Well, almost. Very nearly, anyway.

So there are no tumors in Whisper's chest!! That means we can get surgery! Admittedly, it still sucks that he has to lose an eye and the the tumor is malignant but he can live for a while longer. The appointment for the surgery to remove the tumor is on tuesday, in four days.

Oh, and kitty did so well about the x-rays, that the vets didn't even have to sedate him! Go, Kitty!!
