Manga/Anime where the mc which has lived in the wilderness/counrtyside suddenly is forced back into modern society.
Anime Relations: Ranma ½
So I recently watched this series (forgot the name, sorry about that) where the mc had lived in the wild for his entire life but due to familial reasons, his Grandfathers old love interest decides to enrol him into a prestigious high school. And in a setting like that, it is sure to brew comedy, which I find really funny.
The reason I dropped that series was that the mc was just a bit too dumb for me to enjoy (he was crying when someone tried to tell him to stop eating from the bin), I would like it better if the mc was mountain smart and had a bit of common sense. A hint of romance is good as well.
The mc could have lived in the countryside or just the wild, either is fine. But the mc has to be relatively cool.

[I used Ranma 1/2 as my related anime as I needed one. It can kind of be like Ranma 1/2, where he comes back from a long trip of training in weird areas.]
