Anime Relations: Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu 2nd Season

Hey guys, it's me again. So I decided I would make a little blog talking about chapter 173 of Assassination Classroom. Why? Because I felt like it :P

Anyways I don't know how often I will make these manga chapter "discussions". For now, I will just make them for the rest of the Assassination Classroom chapters, considering the manga is nearing the end.

WARNING: MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD

So let's get started. First off, let me just say that Nagisa's reaction is exactly how I feel after that chapter:



But that is skipping a BIT too far ahead, so I'll leave that little part for later. First, let's talk about that cliffhanger in chapter 172. As we all probably predicted, Koro Sensei takes all of the hits that were aimed at the students in order to protect them. This just adds to my respect for him as a teacher, considering the fact that he is putting their lives before his own. Even so, the students once again remember their teacher's biggest weakness: Them. Koro Sensei, however tells them that they are not a weakness to him and goes on to even saying how proud he is of them being able to make it as far as they did just to see him (Even though in reality, they wouldn't have even been able to get past the military soliders...but that's a different story).

Now onto the part where things get interesting...

Just as Shiro begins his next attack on the now-weak Class E teacher, Kayano makes a bold move and steps up to help Koro Sensei in fighting both monsters. To be completely honest, I was expecting this to happen. Overall, we have seen huge changes to her as a character (mostly for the better) which can easily be seen when she wants to protect the person she use to hate the most.

I just hope that she has health insurance that covers holes in the chest made by giant tentacles:



First of all, let me just say that I did NOT expect this to happen. I expected the manga to take another unrealistic turn of events by Kayano managing to badly hurt No. 2 so that Koro Sensei could finish him off. I'm glad that it was more realistic, but that doesn't mean that I am not upset that she died ;_;

....Or DID she?

As much as it makes sense for her to be killed due to a hole in her freaking chest, there is a chance of her getting out of this whole situation alive. I actually have several theories/facts that can back this up:

• Plot Armor is the first possibility of keeping Kayano alive. You might think that it is a ridiculous reason, but there have been TONS of people that have survived when they should have been killed (Examples; Lovro and Red Eye surviving the God of Death's signature 1 hit kill move, Irina surviving after being crushed in rubble and debris etc.)
  
• Another theory is that Kayano is just pretending to be dead (she IS an actress) and the "blood" was actually the tentacles being destroyed when they hit her jacket (Anti Sensei Material), however there are several things wrong with this theory. First of all, in the second picture it is clearly shown that the tentacle managed to pierce right through her body in one piece. Also, if what we saw WASN'T her blood, then Koro Sensei would have noticed right away because he was right in front of her body. So this theory is pretty much busted...
  
• It is also possible that due to her having tentacles at one time, she is able to "regenerate" areas that a regular human couldn't (Similar to Eren from AoT), however considering the fact that her heart is probably smeared all over the ground right now, her chances of recovery look slim.
  
• My final theory that would be the most "realistic" in this situation is if Koro Sensei can do some sort of tentacle surgery on her. However, it should be something that would also kill him in the process. This form of sacrifice seems very fitting for him, considering he wants to protect all of them. If Kayano ends up surviving, it should be done this way.
  

But like I said before, even if she does die I still think that it will work. I will personally be REALLY sad still, because we have all started to respect Kayano for her actions and developing personality/character throughout the several chapters. Now it is time to talk about the next chapter....at least, what I WANT it to look like...

Enter the third God of Death!


Let's be completely honest, we all want this. An enraged Nagisa/Koro Sensei versus Shiro/No. 2 with the whole class helping out in the background. In my opinion, this would be the perfect final battle. And yes, I have been shipping NagisaxKayano ever since that kiss in chapter 132 (Sorry NagisaxKarma fans)

Unfortunately even if Nagisa DID snap and fight the 2 alongside Koro Sensei, he would be completely useless considering he is a regular human with no tentacle powers. I mean, No. 2 offed Kayano with one hit, so what could that brat do? The only way he could stand a fighting chance is if he managed to get the tentacle power and learn how to use it right away. But the only real chance of him getting that power in the first place is finding a tentacle syringe that Kayano happened to have on her. But there was no reason for her to bring one to the school, and being able to master the tentacles in a matter of minutes WHILE learning to endure with the pain from them pretty much destroys that entire theory. However, maybe due to plot armor (and the power of friendship) this all will somehow happen.

To end off this blog, I really don't think any other students will die because it will ruin the mood that Kayano's death set up for everyone. Let's just hope that Blackie-Sensei doesn't make any stupid mistakes when fighting in rage-mode. I do hope we will see some NagisaxKayano moments though, and hopefully he can somehow contribute to the final battle.

Oh yeah, and there is that laser beam too......

Anime Relations: Fruits Basket

Hey, my name is William and I have been an anime fan for a while now.

I started rather late, with my first anime series being Ouran Highschool Host Club. However I started watching anime regularly much later on (4-5 years after seeing Host Club) like Fruits Baskets, Attack on Titan and SAO.

In the future I will be hopefully making more blog posts and anime reviews, so I hope you guys will enjoy that!
