So, like, maybe I won't hit your dog and splatter it's internal organs all over the road on my way to work.

Dear Mr. and/or Mrs. Irresponsible Pet Owner:

The driver, me, was keeping an eye on Mr. Black Lab on the sidewalk, and nearly had a heart attack when Mr. I'm-The-Same-Color-As-The-Road suddenly appeared in my vision.

Fortunately for you, I have excellent evasive skills, though your dog may be missing the top layer of skin off its nose, since it decided to STAY in the middle of the road, oblivious to the danger of eating highway flapjacks on a busy street. In the dark.

Unfortunately for you, I just so happen to know where you live. You may not remember a husband and wife taking a stroll one evening past your house, but they do remember you, and watching as you let your dogs out of the front door. Said dogs have also been in my yard, and while getting free fertilizer may please some people, my grass is green enough, thanks.

Depending on how evil I feel in the morning, you may or may not get a nice little visit from a friendly local police officer.

Sincerly, A dog lover.

Friday's the last day of my boss's vacation. You know it's sad when you have grown women squealing and cheering when the boss is gone. Says a lot for the boss.

Too bad, my esophagus was just about healed. Back to my daily regiment of Tums in the morning.

At least I have a 3-day weekend, just enough time for me to gird my loins for my return Tuesday morning. Gotta prepare myself for the barrage of lies and deceit.

Going on a date with my puppy this afternoon. We're going to go see The Dark Knight then out for a good dinner at a favorite restaurant. I'm going to miss him when he goes back to teaching next month.

I was on the computer, and the phone rang. Well, I forgot Rob [husband] was napping on the couch, so I ran to get it on the last ring, but Rob got it right before me. I take a look at his hair, and it's sticking up all ways to Sunday. I started laughing so hard I had to hold onto the wall, but I got light headed [I think I might have even blacked-out for a second from laughing so hard] and slipped, and fell backwards through the bathroom doorway. I had bought a box fan and kept it positioned in front of the bathroom to help with a/c bills.

I landed right on top of it flat on my back. My butt has a dark purple line across the right side, just below my tailbone. Both arms above and below the elbow are bruised, and the back of my right thigh has a bruise on it. I think my back might be bruised as well.

Rob's now calling me the ultimate fangirl...

And this is why I have such a dangerous laugh... (-_-; )

2008 Chevy Equinox

Costs as much to fill up as my '88 S-10 did, but I guarantee I'll get more than 240 miles out of a tank of gas :p
Our insurance only went up $6 every 6 months. We looked at a Malibu and an Impala [which I really liked] but this stole my heart. The color is 'golden teal'

Have you seen the size of those bathrooms? Sheesh!

Other than the near endless turbulance of the flight to Ohio, and the bitch in the row next to us who would NOT turn off her cell phone and argued with the staff the entire flight, my first flying experience was rather nice. I had a window seat so I got to see the patchwork quilt of America. Very awesome.

We didn't get to do much as the wife of the friend we were visiting is a pediatrician, and wasn't able to get someone to take her call. She had to stay within 30-40 minutes of the hospital. We did stop at a Friendly's on the way home from the airport. Their special was a 'Happy Ending' lol. Ice cream was great.

We didn't do much that first night besides play with 3 of their 5 cats, I ended up going to bed early since I'd been up since 4:30am. I watched Tom play Assassin's Creed [I ****ing want this game!!] for about an hour, then him and Rob went to the gym where Tom does ameture pro-wrestling.

The next day we went to a local cafe for lunch, where they make their own pie. I had dutch peach, was delicious. Then Tom and Rob went to the Football Hall of Fame, while Shana and I went to an outlet mall. 4 hours of walking around in 90F+ weather, fun fun. Then we went to a smaller strip mall that had a shop where they make their own candy [I bought my mom some fried egg gummies, rofl ] and there was another store that made it's own cheese. I'd have gotten some but I didn't think I'd be able to take it on the plane. Saw a few Amish people in their buggies; that was a trip, watching them going down the highway with all the cars around them.

Later that day we met up and went to a local pizza place. The pizza was very good, but Rob and I were still kind of full from lunch so we didn't eat much. Came back home, then had a little drunken party of four :p After all the walking in the heat I wasn't up for much more than 1, so I hit the hay early. There was a 45 minute delay on our flight but we made it back to St.Louis about 10:45a.

Rob told the stewardess that it was my first time flying. Not only does she give me a deck of cards, a pen, 2 wings, and a luggage tag, she felt it was necessary to make an ANNOUNCEMENT that it was my first time flying [it wasn't, but oh well :p ].

So, good trip, wish it could have been longer.
