LET’S RANK UP TOGETHER
CHOOSING YOUR HERO
ALWAYS take note of the team composition ALWAYS and ALWAYS its very important for rank games. If two people wants to do the same role have them show their win rate, then whoever has the lowest win rate should adjust. Anyway beginners should focus on being able to switch to three types of role your main role where you spend golds for better arcana and optional roles if ever there’s someone who can play better or has higher win rate than you. Know how to adjust specially if you don’t know who you are playing with so the best option is to have everyone play the best role that they can.
DEFENDING 101
When the score is 1-19 and every first towers on all lanes are destroyed we all go panicky. And we all ask what do we need to do? Or can we still win? Here are some things to keep in mind that may help.
First you have to play safe until you and your team catches up with levels and equips just stay on defend position. Check the map first if its safe to jungle before you do.
Tower defend. Don’t chase if you’re defending the tower! If your behind on level and equips and there are a lot of enemy heroes pushing then stay on the tower. The best position will be behind it kill the upcoming creep waves so that the enemy heroes can’t tower dive easily. But if the number of the enemy heroes out numbers you would have to run back than dying there’s a lot of things that you can do in 34 seconds that just waiting to be revived.
Stay focus and watch the map. Clear the creep wave and switch lane if you don’t see any enemies on the map jungle safely or stay on the tower and clear the creep waves from there.
Choose your battles. If you and your team is behind with levels and equips AVOID getting into a clash, know when to run and don’t chase specially if everyone is alive on the enemies team no matter how low hp that hero is or you’ll end up the one being chased after so instead cease the opportunity to farm golds if your enemy runs home.
Secure abyssal or slayer. If the Mm on the team can solo abyssal that would be much better then rest of the team can be go on the defending or pushing side making the enemies busy. Stay near the lane of the abyssal so you can help if ever the mm gets ambushed and . Secure abyssal first and only take on Slayer if enemies carry hero is dead and or there’s only 2 enemy heroes remaining. Getting the Slayer buff may make or break the team if clash happens there with the Slayer.
FOLLOW UPS
A best teammate is the one who can do follow ups. Just watch the map and see if you can run to help your teammate but of course analyze the situation first if you can leave the lane undefended or not. If you can, then next think if you are able to help you don’t want to go there just to die together right? How many are the chasing enemy heroes? Do you have a stun/support skill so you can help him/her/them escape? Are you behind on level and equips do you think you can take them on? Are other team mates able to make follow up as well? If all your answer is No then just stay where you are than both of you dying together leaving the towers undefended.
PRO TANK
A pro tank can hold two heroes in one lane. So if you’re a tank you have to learn how to defend properly and don’t complaint if you have two heroes on your lane you should be able to hold as much as two. This will give an advantage for your teams on the other lane to push easily. If your holding two heroes don’t give chase always aim to clear creep waves so the two can’t tower dive. If you’re the tanker’s team mate and you see your tanker is holding two heroes grab the opportunity to push quickly then run to help the tank every now and then after destroying the tower help the tank out to destroy the tower in his/her lane.
PRO JUNGLER
A jungler’s important part is securing the abyssal and supporting the lanes. You don’t go jungle all the way you have to help your team but you also don’t stay on lanes. Balance jungling and defending if you see that the lane doesn’t have any one to defend it just visit that lane and clear the creep wave and leave. You only need to stay if the enemy hero persist on pushing the lane but stay on the defend side if you can’t take on 1v1 yet. If ever there’s three or more of them one is a tank and no one can help you let’s say you’re team mates are all dead don’t be a hero and go back on the next tower.
PRO ASSASSIN
Assassins are melee so they are short ranged, has great ability power but are short lived that’s why they cannot defend a lane so always let the assassin role do the jungling never take that away from them. Some people are accusing assassin as KS or stealing a kill this is the main purpose of this role you do the final hit so don’t accuse them as if they are doing something wrong. Wait for the enemy heroes mainly the mm or the mages to use up their last skill then attack them and it’ll be best if you’ll be coming from behind. Most of the assassins are carry they can change the tide of the battle if they have farmed enough gold to complete their equips.
EARLY GAME
What do you need to do on early games. Do you kill? Do you push? Your goal is to push and defend if you’re on the lane, unless you’re a jungler. First step would be harassing your enemy if you’re a mm/mage sending the enemy hero home is the best way to push don’t aim for the kill then get greedy and die instead, aim for them to have no choice but to go home and regenerate getting the kill is the bonus part of it. If you’re a tank example Taara you don’t harass until you get your last skill just farm gold and defend till you do. At level 4 mm/ass/mage and a tank should meet up, the two should secure the abyssal dragon make it a point that the jungler always checks on it. And if your at disadvantage aim on clearing the creep waves and farm more golds for better equips and increase more levels.
LATER GAME
Pushing all side is better and switching lanes is the key. Learn how to switch lanes if you’re not able to push a certain lane. Watch the map and check if you can push alone or not to so you can avoid being ganked. But if it permits to go all the way mid or whichever do so but don’t get too greedy always analyze the situation if you can go further or to switch lane.If you and your team mate’s level and equips is at parr with the enemies then stay together for a clash anytime if not avoid any clash until you and your team catches up. In later game securing the Slayer is important so you can clash and wipe out the enemies then do the final push to the enemies throne.
