Emotional Anime
[size=120][center]Allmost all anime series in this list have at least one song that just gives me the feels again of the moment I was watching. This is most of the time the background music of the emotional part and also the opening and ending song. A lot of these songs take me back even more when I see what the lyrics mean. I put all anime songs I like in the music playlist you can click on at my homepage. I have a weak side...F*ck this side of me. Well I couldn't help but make this page. Ps. Im not talkin about drama and romance only. Im talkin about emotions like feeling f*cked up, not knowing what to do, etc.
Toradora:
- Everything!!
Wanna try romance anime for the first tiime?? I went all the way up just to put Toradora on top. Just so you know that this is absolutely the best anime when it comes to the combination of school, drama, romance and comedy.
This story lives. I takes you into that world and makes you feel the conflict. It is a beautiful love story with a lot of twists. Watch it again and you see a lot of things that have a symbolic meaning or already indicate something that will happen. If you want to see the story of a boy and how he teams up with an agressive NOT tall girl so they both get the partner they want (or just want toknow how good romance anime is), you should watch this. It will not make every main character satisfied, but hey... real life aint like that too ;)
Naruto Series:
- First Naruto: episode 95 & ..., Shippuuden: 31, 175 & 249
Naruto has a really extensive plot with a lot of twists. You literally follow the life of this young little fella, when he finally achieves something after so much blood and sweat it gets pretty emotional. Also a lot of parts where you learn about someones past or where someone gets confronted with his or her past. There are a few more of these moments, but the ones that I could find the episode of are noted.
Charlotte:
- Last half
This is not a love story, this is a life story. Having a special ability is the most problematic thing ever. See how a group of adolescent teens goes through hardship nobody ever had in his/her life. How hard it is to lose someone close to you. Not only in terms of personality, but in terms of mental awareness too.
AKB0048 Series:
- Ending
AKB0048 is the first idol anime I ever watched and I still love it. There are a few really emotional moments (not only the ending), that give the serie a lot of bonus points and give the plot the finishing touch. (these are emotional moments only possible in plots where entertainment has been banned all over the galaxy and you are the only one able to make people happy).
Angel Beats:
- Ending
Damn this serie is funny, but damn.... it has some emotional aspects in the plot too...
The ending got a lot of people emotional which I absolutely understand. It got me too.
Couldnt expect less from the makers of Charlotte. The concept sucks... but the stories of the people in this 'parallel/afterlife world' really will make you feel emotional.
Anohana:
- whole series
Anohana has drama and slice of life as main genres and you can see that. This anime has makes you realize how much impact the death of a friend at young age can have 10 years later. I can call it the best drama anime for sure! A beautiful slice of life full of emotions.
The Shinkai Makoto Movies:
- Byousoku 5 cm & Kotonoha no Niwa & Kimi no Na wa.
All these movies contain a love story, a slice of life and that combined with the most beautiful graphics ever seen in anime. These movies are the hard work of Shinkai Makoto and all people that helped him. Just amazing....
Hotarubi no Mori e:
- Ending
The story of how a really little girl becomes friends with an adolescent forest spirit that played with her and helped her a lot. The spirit always stays an adolescent while the girl has become one too. This movie is a pretty emotional story, you should discover yourself what kind of emotions.
Kokosake:
- Whole movie
A little girl loses her voice when accidentally telling her mom that her father cheated on her mother. She lives a live without beinh able to talk and has a really hard time. No father, and a mother that doesn't give her the love she needs. She goes to high school now...
Date A Live:
- Ending & encore ova episode
Date A live: Really strange beginning. It has a lot of humor in it, and romance too. Some things are pretty annoying like the red haired girl making it one big dating sim, but there are a few things that make it sow beautiful. The ending, and of course the OVA which gives the story a twist that makes me want to see a next season. The ova really gave me the feels. Ova should be watched after the ending.
Elfen Lied:
- Everything!
Elfen Lied is f*cked up!! It contains a lot of painfull and emotional scenes. In the beginning it is really mysterious, but in the end the whole serie is just sad and full of pain (literally, its given horror as one of the genres). Someone with paranormal powers didnt choose for it...
Haikyuu!!
- Season 3
It is the most intense part of the series and really makes you just as emotional as the main characters. You see all the efforts they make without giving up. You see the results of not giving up. All seasons make me cheer for Karasuno! See it for yourself!!
Love Live: School Idol Project:
- Whole series
Trying to be school idols is so hard!! You see how the girls become closer friends. The music has beautiful lyrics and sound good. You see what kind of hard times these girls experience and cheer for them. Happy and sad times, everything!!!
Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu:
- Everything
This serie is just a wow slice of life. It made me feel happy at a lot of moments, but sad at some moments that i cant spoil. You can read the emotions of the characters very well and a lot of things happen. This is definitely a good anime. It is an alternative setting of another anime, It wont spoil you at all about the other serie, its something completely different. Im talkin about when your friend starts acting strange after an almost car-accident. There are a lot of superfun moments too where they go out and enjoy their summer. and its not the stereotypical type of enjoying... just good food and the beach. Its really hartwarming moments together...
Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin):
- Whole series
The infamous Attack on Titan (AoT) or Shingeki no Kyojin (SnK). How strong the story is. Its just art. This masterpiece has good graphics and an amazing soundtrack, but above all... the story leaves you behind with a shit feeling, you will feel f*cked up for the main characters and what they go through. Of cours you wouldnt cry. Its just... shocking... but not the kind of shocking of horror anime (just so u know), another one...
Shuffle:
- Last half of the serie
Holy damn... Shuffle is a harem anime, i didnt expect it to be emotional, but it seems not all harem anime is just some stereotype story. I guess some harem anime live up to the expectations of people who like drama or romance anime too. At least, Shuffle did. The plot is really good and i can say that if i should make a list of good romance stories, this one would be in the list as well. Now the art isn't near the level of famous anime like Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name), but I dont really care. It is just good.
Zero no Tsukaima:
- Ending
The lovely romantic story with a tsundere, a boy and a parallel world where it lookslike the middle ages, but then with magic. This is a good ecchi anime and is a story I wont forget. Why? I just love it. Of course it contains some fanservice, but hey... all anime does. The fanservice it had in the beginning was pretty annoying, just classical harem shit that randomly happens... but in the end it's really just love...
It doesnt present any genre well btw, except romance, adventure and school (a bit).
Just try it out peeps!!
Steins gate:
- Everything
Not romantic... just so you know, it has a minimum amount of romance... This is what you should watch if you want to experience the feelings of someone playing with time. How painful and strange it can be, and above all... dangerous
I am talking about a completely other kind of emotion here. It is the kick and loneliness of changing time and being the only one noticing it. The pain of having experiences with your friends and then just removing all those experiences with one button... Steins Gate, for our adventurers and time travellers.
Tamako Love story:
- Ending
A really cute stereotypical love story!!! Yes, the stereotypical and classic setup can be good 2 you know. Just check it out okay...
