About Me
The Origin
I joined MAL because I was too lazy to keep track of the episodes I was on by myself. I was a committed anime watcher since about 2006, but stopped around 2010 or so because I got bored and my internet was slow. But didn't get back into it until 2013, and it was just because I got introduced to Kill la Kill and I started watching it weekly because I didn't want it to get spoiled by this guy in my Spanish class. Around May of 2014 I decided to watch Akira, and I ended up loving it to death. Following Akira I watched the Rebuilds of Evangelion, shortly after was when I made this account.
Actually About Me
My name is Matthew and I'm pretty relaxed for the most part, I'm not as shitty as I am on the forums. I'm white and Japanese so that means I'm the master race and you should all worship me. Though my mom is already only half-Japanese and barely learned any of the language so I'm basically just a normal white guy. I'll accept most friend requests, just don't expect much out of the friendship without messaging or commenting first.
Hobbies and Whatnot
Not that much really, apart from the obvious anime & manga (occasional LN). I play video games often, as well as visual novels. Most of the games I play are on PS3, PS4, or Vita, the only online game I play are fighting games for the most part, the rest are single player stuff. I used to be really involved in watching wrestling but mostly stopped watching once getting back into anime. Also listen to music often, my favorite bands are Vampire Weekend, Queens of the Stone Age, Asian Kung-fu Generation, Wavves, Kero Kero Bonito, The Strokes, Muse, The Pillows, and FIDLAR. Favorite rappers are Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Wu-Tang Clan, Childish Gambino, Jpegmafia, and Kid Cudi.
