Anime Overload
Anime Relations: Koutetsujou no Kabaneri
I don't know if its just me or does this season have a shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittt ton of anime series to be watched? So far on my watch list for this season has ballooned to 21 entries including anime shorts. I have never watched this many series concurrently but I definitely feel that the shows that are on my watch list are all pretty decent.
But I must say this season, I am particularly impressed with Koutetsujou no Kabaneri. It has the same director as that of Attack on Titian and it has lots of similar themes. It is action packed and even though only one episode has aired, I think this will be one of the top anime for the Spring 2016 season.

Trying to catch up on One Piece
Anime Relations: One Piece
I've decided to catch up on One Piece after I've put it on hold for what might have been a year? I stopped watching it around episode 160 something which is season 6. I am currently on episode 179. The current episode of One Piece is around 570 something? that a lot of watch time ahead.... this will be a major undertaking since I'll be going back to college on Sunday -___-

A Pessimists thoughts on writing reviews
Anime Relations: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
So far I've only written a few anime reviews and I just stared recently. It is quite difficult to write a concise review and expect it to be helpful to other anime watchers. It is exacerbated by the fact that one's memory degrades overtime.
How do you achieve writing witty reviews that is both humors and helpful to the audience? I guess like every learning process or the aging of wine, you get better with practice and better with time. I try to be as objective as I can while writing reviews and try not to spoil anything at all. But a reflection of one's experiences can never be completely objective. Enjoyment never strays far from subjectivity.
As a pessimistic person, anime is usually a guilty pleasure. Ahh the despair in the real world and how society influences me in a negative way. I try to be as emotionless as possible when I write reviews.
