My first entry
Hi there, to whoever is reading this. This is my first blog post. Its not going to be particularly long but hey, just wanted to write about my experience so far.
I'm pretty new to the anime scene having only started watching anime properly a couple of months ago. I've always loved Pokemon and used to play the games as a child and I have watched the first two seasons of that. My favorite anime so far has to be Toradora due to it being soooooo gooooood. Taiga is such a great character and makes the show and for those who have not watched it... you need to right now! I think what made the show even better for me is that I had just come from watching some ecchi harems which had been ok but hadn't finished due to no second seasons being made thus far. When Toradora came the romance and story were on a whole other level and it blew me away, opening my eyes to the beauty of anime.
I joined MAL a couple of days ago and i'm really liking it. For one its really helpful for putting down everything that people recommend to me so I don't forget (which I easily do with names and things like that). I like keeping track of all the anime I have watched so I can come back later and remember it all. Writing in the comments and rating it also gives me closure on the series that I didn't want to end because they were either so good or they felt incomplete but another series was unlikely, which is good too. Its also really interesting seeing what other people thought of the anime's that I have watched and seeing if my opinions match theirs.
What i'm going to try and do now is become more social and making friends. I would really like to find people who have watched the same anime as me and talk to them about them. The way i'm going to aim to achieve this goal is by getting more involved in the club i have joined (Namine's Café for those who are interested) and also by making my profile better so I become more approachable to people and they take an interest in me which i want them to.
That's going to be my plan of action. So far I have really enjoyed myself and i'm sure I will continue to do so.
