Arifureta Review: An Unprecedented Isekai

Arifureta is all this and more. Never before have I witnessed such a special isekai. But what exactly makes this particular isekai stand out you might ask? Well, I hope that this review will open your eyes to the sheer brilliance and majesty that is Arifureta. Read and be enlightened...
Our hero is a whiney kid named Hajime who got isekai'd to another world with his class and ends up in a crappy situation in a cruddy cave. His voice actor is great and says things like "it got my left arm!" in a nonchalant voice 5 seconds after having his left arm torn off. He cries and stuff as he wallows in self pity but then goes full edgelord out of nowhere and starts eating monsters for some reason. Eating monster meat makes him turn into Kaneki Ken, and I could've sworn that I heard "oshiete oshiete yo" playing off in the distance. He then evolves into an Aggressive Super Sadist, or ASS for short, and starts to laugh maniacally proclaiming how he'll kill anyone and everything that so much as looks at him funny because he kinda sorta thinks that someone might have wronged him or something. ASS has one of the briefest and most bizarre character transformation arcs in all anime, and that my friends is what makes him so special.
What a fantastic character!!!
But wait, he gets even better!!!
Becoming a supreme edgelord bestows ASS with heavenly protagonist powers which make him utterly impossible to beat in a fight. His quotes upgrade from scared, whiney crap in the beginning to truly confident and memorable lines like “Take it in the ass and die!” Man, my butt clenches every time! ASS is so edgy that he spreads his edge to an entire clan of flamboyant bunny people. You better look out, the edge is contagious! Watch too much of this anime and you might end up wearing an eyepatch yourself and going around proclaiming your hatred of absolutely everything. That’s just how freaking charismatic ASS is! ASS is so badass that he makes a dragon moan in ecstasy by shoving a stick up it’s ass while still getting some of dat sweet loli vampire ass all in the same day. His feats are just so ass-tronomical!

Oh, you’re wondering about dat sweet loli vampire ass? Well it’s common knowledge that you can measure an isekai protagonist’s worth by how badly the women in his harem want to bang him. And boy oh boy, the girls in this harem really want that D. There’s even a scene where they all ask to be impregnated by ASS. These girls are total sexual deviants. Especially Yue, the aforementioned loli vampire.

This vampire girl is thirsty af and exposes everything to ASS. And you pervs know what I mean by everything~ None of that “Kyaa, d-don’t look at me, b-baka!” garbage here. No, we just get straight up naked little girls- uh, I mean, ah, 300 year old vampires! Yep…BIG difference…Of course, this means it’s perfectly legal to bang her, which is exactly what ASS does. Yeah, you read that right, these characters actually have SEX! Well, we don’t actually see it, but it’s implied and stuff, so OH YEAH! ASS isn’t some weak-ass isekai boi who gets all the girls but then does absolutely nothing with them. No, this guy is a total Chad. I mean, the dude’s so confident that he nonchalantly kisses a loli in the middle of a battle against the final boss of a dungeon. The absolute mad lad!
These edgy teens just can't hold back their sexual desires!!!
There are other females in this anime like a sex-craving bunny girl, a masochistic dragon girl, a fish loli that randomly appears at the end of the show, and random classmates from ASS’s school that inexplicably suck up screen time, but they are all merely tools to be saved and dominated by our holy isekai lord ASS, so I won’t waste any of your time by talking about them.
You'll notice immediately that the visual quality of Arifureta is truly unique, which is of course due to the majestic cgi. The first episode alone had several stunning moments. The scene where the zombie dragon thingy face planted into the earth brought a tear to my eye. And when the cgi skeleton thingy just cheaply disappeared from the screen after being stabbed? Beautiful. And the slow motion used to build tension after ASS shot a bullet into a bear thingy's head and the eventual satisfying *TWUMP* as the bullet lodged into the creature's head was...beyond words. The monster designs in later episodes get even better, with most of the monsters, particularly the scorpion thingy, resembling giant turds. And let me tell you, there’s nothing more horrifying then staring down something that looks like the smelly waste you crap out of your body. Even the dragon thingy and hydra thingy are animated like crap! Designs like these are pure genius honestly. Thanks studio Ass-read for providing the world with your unprecedented visuals!
Ahh, run! It's a giant turd!!!
This anime also has plot. The same kinda plot featured in practically every isekai. Two giant, voluptuous pieces of plot that are attached to a bunny girl. Aaaaand that about sums up Arifureta’s story.

Arifureta is an experience. It shows just how much absurdity can happen when you put so much stupid in one place. While a lot of it is absolutely revolting, there are some sacred segments that are truly exceptional. So friends, I recommend that you go to your nearest illegal streaming site and watch this peak isekai IMMEDIATELY!

Anime Relations: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Score: 1/10
F--k My Ass Bro, or FMA:B for short, is a beloved light novel series written by esteemed author William Shakespeare, and follows brother protagonists Edward “Ed” Murphy and Alphonse “Al” Capone as they search for the philosopher’s steroids, which is said to grant power equivalent to roughly 5% of Shaggy’s power levels. It’s a thrilling tale filled with love, passion, action, and raw EMOTION. But there’s one tiny issue…
This anime adaptation ruins it.
It takes an absurd amount of stupidity to actually like this trash heap of an anime. It's unfathomable to believe that great anime like Shrek's Bizarre Adventure, Cory in the HAREM House, and Mars of Destruction are actually rated lower than this. At least those are faithful to their original source material. This, however, is a far cry from being good, and l just can’t fathom why it’s rated so high!!!
First of all, so much material is cut out from this. The entire romance between childhood sweethearts Ed and Oprah Winry is completely shafted. I mean like wtf??? Also, The EPIC chapter 69 battle between Roy’s Mustangs and Elon Musk’s Teslas wasn’t given justice AT ALL! I mean like wtf??? It’s adaptation failures like these that really get my blood boiling.
Also, it’s common knowledge that the artist for FMA, Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, is at the peak of his career and draws like a madman. I mean, nothing can even compare to his exquisite style. Yet studio Gaynax completely ruins everything yet again with their garbage animation team. I mean like wtf???

Honestly, it pains me to say this. I love the source material more than my wife and kids. I cosplay as Shaggy at every anime convention ever. Yet this despicable, disgusting piece of dumpster droppings drove a dagger through my dick with its disturbing decomposition of this top-tier light novel.
