The return of Shounen
Anime Relations: Black Clover
Until 2017 the big three shounen were Dragon ball, One Piece and Naruto. There are other shounen that did left some impression like Hunter x Hunter and Bleach however, these anime didn't continue. We got some shows like World trigger and danmachi but it didnt leave a much impression and it was kinda short compared to other big shounens.
However, it all changes because Black Clover. Black Clover don't have any fiiller compared to other shounen and the openings of Black Clover are the best. The manga of black clover is also good. Despite having an enemy with off the chart power, Tabata sensei makes the fight interesting and shows that they didn't win due to the plot armour. Tabata wants to make black clover a long running show like one piece. At first when I watched black clover, it felt like annoying especially the main character Asta who screams all the time but as the shows go on I learned the reason for it. In a world where magic rules everything and he can't use magic. Everyone gave up on him and he knows that if he gave up on himself the its all over so he encourage him self and make sure that he hears the words clearly by screaming "Never Give Up". All he can do to motivate him self is him. Black Clover's animation can be a bit weird sometime and if that is the reason then read the manga. I believe that Black Clover have the potential to become one of the best shounen.
BTW, when I mentioned big three shounen and if you thought of Fairy Tail then bruh, you have NO taste in anime.
