Anime Relations: Soul Eater
Well it's been a long while since I've updated here, so I figure that it's high time to stop in with a few words. I have been slightly busy with looking for a new job and other "fun" life matters, but I always have time for a little anime.

If anyone is looking for suggestions, I would definately suggest Soul Eater to any who have not seen it. The show is extremely well done. The artwork is unique, and even the backgrounds are so detailed. Everytime I watch it, I see something new. The charaters are fun and each have their own completely different characteristics that make them stand out. This was the first time that I've ever heard Micah Soulsod in a leading role (as Soul) and he really did an amazing job. Chris Patton plays one of the villians, and I have to say that it was one of the best roles that I've ever heard him in. All in all the story is great, and keeps you pulled in, the action is well paced, and the music is even fun.

I've started a few new shows in between reading, writing, and life, so I may have to keep things updated here. Why not right, it's a great way to pass the info along..

Cheers!

Well, I just finished Nerima Daikon Brothers. It was really good, but I may have to watch it again due to major brain blowage. I thought it was a really interesting idea to have a musical anime, and Luci Christian, Greg Ayres, and Chris Patton did an excellent job. The only part that kind of threw me off was it was more perverted than anything I've ever watched....though it was done well o.o I just started Code Geass, and I'm currently on episode 8. I'm throughly enjoying that one. Johnny Young Bosch does a fine job as the lead character in this. It's been a while since a could find a good Mecha anime that could keep my interest.

I'm thinking that my next acquisitions are going to be Ghost Stories and Black Blood Brothers. I've watched both, and they are completely worth having. I love how Ghost Stories is a impoved anime. Evidently the original show in Japan did really poorly. The Japanese company gave ADV the right to do whatever they wanted with the roles as long as they kept the main storyline in tact. The result is a hilarious ghost filled anime full of panty jokes, jabs at Christian Slaters career, jokes about Vic Mignogna, classic anime jokes, and so much more. I never laughed so much with an anime before.

Luckily I'm off of work today, so I'll be able to catch up on some good old anime viewing and maybe even work on my story some.

Cheers
