Anime Relations: Gun x Sword

At a certain point down the rabbit hole that is "the anime world" you start to realize that some anime blur together. It takes a while, but once in a while you'll be watching an anime and think, wow, that seems like something from X anime. And while its true that all anime take inspiration from somewhere, heck probably any anime can have their trope analyzed to the point that we are talking about Astro Boy, personally I think its important to see an anime for what it is, its own piece of work, not a copy of another work.
Not that every anime is a finely crafted piece of art, heck there is a lot of anime out there that simply doesn't deserve to be standing out among the actually great series, but that's the reason the ranking system exists after all. But it's not perfect. A lot of good anime get swept away, not noticed by the masses because they just didn't get talked about when they were airing.
So that's the end goal, to give every anime its time in the spotlight. from the greats to the actual trash, I want to give them all a chance. So from this point forward, I'm working on producing a full view of all the anime I've seen. Lets see what we can really find hidden away in the dust :)

Really just doing this for myself, sometimes I worry that I'll start to forget some of the anime that I've seen, and even if I hated an anime, I don't want to forget what I hated about it.
